Soderberg to construct a !~0 foot Ham-radio <br />transmitting tower on his property of the above mentioned address was <br />previously considered at a regular Counsdl meeting of June 2l~, 1976 <br />at which time Council requested the City Attorney to review Zoning <br />Ordinance #~1 and other Jurisdictional opin?ons furnished by Mr. Soderberg, <br />to determine whether City Ordinance #61~ permitted such construction, <br />was reviewed by Councilman Black and Attorney Kenefick. <br />Councilman Black reminded Council that the Planning Commission recommended <br />denial of the request. <br />Attorney Kenefick related it would be an accessary structure and therefore <br />requires a Conditional Use Permit under Ordinance #6!~ relative to R-1 <br />districts, and a Variance would be required if Mr. Soderberg wanted to <br />exceed the 25 foot height. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Black to deny the Conditional Use request of Charles <br />H. Soderberg of 1152 W. Idaho to construct a !l0 foot transmitting tower <br />on his property. Motion died for lack of a second. <br />Motion by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Labalestra to table <br />Mr. Sederberg's request until the Planning Commission reviews the City <br />Attorneys opinion in respect to other Jurisdictional Ordinances and various <br />other opinions which Attorney Kenefick rendered, requesting the Planning <br />Commission to propose a new ordinance regulating the use of radio towers <br />or an amendment to the existing ordinance or do nothing. Upon a vote <br />being taken the following voted "aye": Councilmen Ecklund and Labalestra, <br />and the following voted "nay": Mayor Warkentien, and Councilman B]a ck. <br />Motion failed. <br />Motion by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by Councilman Ecklund to table <br />the request until a full council was present to further discuss the <br />request on August 25, 1976. Upon a vote being taken the following voted <br />"aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Labalestra, and <br />the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by <br />request of Marvin Satilinek of 1?~53 West Io~ <br />in the cost of the repair of his private Sa <br />letter be sent to him explaining the policy <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted <br />Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Labalestra, , <br />None. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Black to deny the MARVIN KATILINEK <br />'a, requesting the City to share SEWER REPAIR <br />ataxy Sewer line and that a COST REQUEST <br />of the City on such repairs. <br />'rays": Mayor Warkentien, <br />.nd the following voted "nay": <br />Engineer Lemberg submitted a recommendation by Otto Bonestroo & Associates SANIT. SEWER <br />Engineering Firm requesting Council to go on record to televise all future CONSTRUCTION <br />Public Sanitary Sewer installations in the City of Falcon Heights. TELEQISING <br />Motion by Mayor Warkentien, seconded by Councilman Ecklund to adopt the <br />recommendation to televise all future Sanitary Sewer installations in the <br />City of Falcon Heights. Upon a vote being taken the following voted "ayen; <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Labalestra, and the <br />following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />
