Rooke, 1771 Hamline Avenue <br />North requesting Council to pass an ordinance restricting youth from <br />patronising the pool hall in the City of Falcon Heights. It was <br />suggested that the Sheriff's Department survey the pool hall patrons <br />to determine their ages and report back to the Council for further <br />discussion at a later date. Mayor Warkentien will call Mrs. Rooke <br />and inform her of Council's action. <br />~~ <br />CURFEW REQUEST <br />FOR POOL HALL AT <br />1771 N. HAMLINE <br />BY YJ. W. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Steven Doyal, x.660 Linwood Circle, Excelsior, Minnesota, represent- STEVEN DOYAL <br />ing Elm Tree Injection Service, appeared before Council to request a ELM TREE INJECTION <br />license be issued to his firm to treat elm trees with Lignasan BLP SERVICE <br />which he claims is preventive against Dutch Elm Disease. Mr. Doya1 LICENSE REQUEST <br />stated he was aware of the property damage clause in the City Ordin- <br />ance #86, which stipulated a $50.00 deductible only. Mr. Doyal claims <br />no insurance company would write a policy having a $50.00 deductible for <br />property damage because they are working with a chemical. <br />Councilman Black introduced the following amendment to Ordinance #86, <br />and moved its adoption. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 152 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 86, AN ORDINANCE REGULATING ORDINANCE #152 <br />THE PLANTING, MAINTENANCE AND REMOVAL OF TREES, AND REQUIRING A INSURANCE <br />LICENSE FOR THE REMOVAL, TRIMNLING AND TREATMENT OF TREES. REQUIREMENTS FOR <br />TREE TREATING <br />Mayor Warkentien seconded the foregoing motion to adopt Ordinance <br />#152, and upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund and Labalestra, and the follow- <br />ing voted "nay11: None. Pratt, 1811 Arona, appeared be- GARDEN PATCHIlVG <br />fore Council to inform them they feel the patching on Garden Avenue be- COMMENTS <br />tween Snelling Drive and Pascal was marginal. Engineer Lemberg informed <br />the two men that it was not intended to be a major patching job but to <br />correct the surface adequately so that sealcoating could be applied. <br />
