CURB ~ GUTTER <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />Attorney Kenefick advised council they could <br />not go over the proposed estimated figure. <br />George Kilgore - 1494 Idaho - wants curb and <br />gutter, he said only three houses would be <br />effected to have the whole boulevard sodded in <br />his block. <br />Paul Berg - 1522 W. Idaho - he mentioned there <br />were five against out of eight in his block. He <br />feels it is not necessary at this point. <br />1 <br /> <br />Councilman Steele was excused from the meeting at <br />9:48 pm. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved and it was seconded by John <br />Labalestra, ordering the curb and gutter improvement <br />on Idaho Avenue from Arona to Pascal and direct the <br />Engineer to draw up plans and specifications. Upon <br />a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund and Labalestra. <br />The following voted "nay": None. Absent: Steele. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien thanked all for coming and their <br />orderly presentation. <br />Attorney Kenefick submitted to Council a proposed <br />ordinance establishing user strength charges for <br />industrial users in the City of Falcon Heights and <br />the method of collecting the costs. He informed <br />Council that Mando Photo chemical discharges into <br />the sewer is being monitored. Council directed <br />Attorney Kenefick to prepare a final draft and <br />submitt it to Council on June 9. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes was directed to inform <br />Mando of the proposed ordinance and invite them to <br />attend the next meeting. <br />INDUSTRIAL <br />USER STRENGTH <br />(CHARGE SEWER) <br />Clement Lehmen, proprietor of Falcon Lanes appeared ORDINANCE 156 <br />before the Council and objected to the fee schedule <br />in Ordinance 156, which was previously adopted. The <br />City Council advised Mr. Lehmen that all communities <br />have simular fee schedules and some of them with a <br />greater fee. <br />
