AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0 46, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF THE MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM REQUIRING CONNECTIONS TO BE MADE TO THE MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM ESTABLISHING REQULATIONS AS TO TYPES AND KINDS OF WASTES THAT MAY BE DISPOSED OF BY THE USE OF THE MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE OF ANY TYPE OR KIND OF SURFACE WATERS INTO THE MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM AND PRESCRIBING RATES AND CHARGES FOR DIS- POSAL SERVICES", .ORDINANCE N0. 82, ORDINANCE NO 110, ORDINANCE N0. 113 and ORDINANCE N0. 155. Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra. The following voted 11nay": None. Motion carried. Clerk Administrator Barnes discussed with council the 1978 Ramsey County Police contract and requested authorization for the Mayor and Clerk Administrator to sign said contract. Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Black to authorize the Mayor and Clerk Administrator to sign the 1978 Policing Contract with Ramsey County. Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra. The following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. Councilman Labalestra informed the council on the progress of the Job Corps Center at Bethel College site. The community groups are going to fight the decision in court. Councilman Labalestra requested to have Attorney Kenefick look into the legalities of the city contributing funds for legal fees. Attorney Kenefick was directed to have an answer on Jan. 11, 1978 meeting. 1978 POLICE CONTRACT RAMSEY COUNTY JOB CORPS Councilman Labalestra reported on the contents of the FIRE INSPECTION fire inspection report for the Liquor Store. There LIQUOR STORE are some electrical problems and etc. Discussion was tabled until the December 29, 1977 special council meeting.
