<br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />DECEMBER 22, 1977 <br />Page 4 <br />ORDINANCE #158 <br />13:? <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0 46, ENTITLED <br />"AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM REQUIRING <br />CONNECTIONS TO BE MADE TO THE MUNICIPAL SANITARY <br />SEWER SYSTEM ESTABLISHING REQULATIONS AS TO TYPES <br />AND KINDS OF WASTES THAT MAY BE DISPOSED OF BY <br />THE USE OF THE MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM <br />PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE OF ANY TYPE OR KIND OF <br />SURFACE WATERS INTO THE MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER <br />SYSTEM AND PRESCRIBING RATES AND CHARGES FOR DIS- <br />POSAL SERVICES", .ORDINANCE N0. 82, ORDINANCE NO 110, <br />ORDINANCE N0. 113 and ORDINANCE N0. 155. <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and <br />Labalestra. The following voted 11nay": None. Motion <br />carried. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes discussed with council the <br />1978 Ramsey County Police contract and requested <br />authorization for the Mayor and Clerk Administrator <br />to sign said contract. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Black <br />to authorize the Mayor and Clerk Administrator to <br />sign the 1978 Policing Contract with Ramsey County. <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele <br />and Labalestra. The following voted "nay": None. <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Labalestra informed the council on the <br />progress of the Job Corps Center at Bethel College <br />site. The community groups are going to fight the <br />decision in court. Councilman Labalestra requested <br />to have Attorney Kenefick look into the legalities of <br />the city contributing funds for legal fees. Attorney <br />Kenefick was directed to have an answer on Jan. 11, 1978 <br />meeting. <br />1978 POLICE <br />CONTRACT <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />JOB CORPS <br />Councilman Labalestra reported on the contents of the FIRE INSPECTION <br />fire inspection report for the Liquor Store. There LIQUOR STORE <br />are some electrical problems and etc. Discussion was <br />tabled until the December 29, 1977 special council <br />meeting. <br />
