Bid bonds and performance bonds have been called for at 100 time and materials. The Coun- cil suggested that the bids be taken with both fire safety alternatives. This was agreed. Engineer Lemberg questioned the adequacy of the parking space and loading areas. George Rafferty explained that nine feet was used as a buffer to soften lights on the resi- dence to the east of the store. The Council suggested that full use of the blacktop be made available. The exterior of the new section can be finished in various ways. The architects will get samples of the different styles of brick for the Council to inspect. It would be approximately $500 more for a maintenance-free brick. Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by 2~Iayor tidarkentien, to hold a special meeting of the Village Council on August 31, 1972, for the purpose of accepting bids for the I~Zunici- pal Liquor Store. Motion carried.
