Engineer Lemberg read the results of the survey and ex- 4 <br />plained how the survey was taken, and what the speed <br />limit is actually based on. He stated that due to th e <br />results of the survey, Ramsey County is not considering <br />lowering the speed limit. He also stated that the <br />average speed limit of traffic traveling along <br />Fairview Avenue on a given day was less than 1~0 miles <br />per hour. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Stone, to VARIANCE - 1910 ASBURY <br />allow a variance, submitted by Gerald T. La11a, 1910 GERALD T. LALLA <br />Asbury Avenue, for a driveway sixteen feet in width, <br />running north from his house at said address, with the <br />limitation that the sixteen feet width can extend no <br />more than a distance of five feet south of the traveled <br />portion of Roselawn, upon the recommendation of the <br />Falcon Heights Planning Commission, and subject to <br />the approval of the Ramsey County Highway Department. <br />Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, VARIANCE - 1512 W. <br /> to approve the variance submitted by James L. He stated that <br />he would recommend that the Council enter into an <br />agreement with Northern States Power for T7etro Rate <br />Authority.
