The village clerk is hereby authorized <br />and directed to destroy the following classes of <br />records described in the list submitted to the <br />councils <br />(a) All orders and checks dated from <br />January 1, 195lt through December 31, <br />x.957, both dates inclusive. <br />(b) All receipts and bank statements dated <br />from January 1, 1953 through December <br />31, 1957, both dates inclusive. <br />(c) All correspondence, 13censes and permits, <br />police officer daily reports, arrest <br />tags, Justice of Peace Criminal Complaints, <br />fire reports, miscellaneous election data, <br />village insurance policies, duplicat~a <br />copies of building permits dated April <br />1, 19?~9 through December 31, 1957: both <br />dates inclusive.. <br />2. Before such records are destroyed, a copy of <br />this resolution shall be sent to the Minnesota State <br />Archives Commission and such records shall not b® <br />destroyed but. shall be sent to the Archives Commission <br />if a petition or application requesting them is <br />received by the village within thirty days from the <br />date ttie resolution is mailed. <br />Adopted by the Council this 25th day of April, 1968. <br />Motion was duly seconded' by Stone and upon a vote <br />being taken, the following voted for same= Warkentien, <br />Stone, Ecklund and Black and the following voted against <br />same: None. Whereupon resolution was declared passed. <br />Fire Departments <br />Purchase Requisition Ecklund moved, seconded by ffiack that Purchase Requi- <br />68-3: sition 68-3 for miscellaneous cleaning supplies dated <br />. April 19, 1968 be approved. Ayesa Warkentien~ Stone, <br />Black, and Ecklund. Nayss None.. Motion was carried. <br />Reports Fire Department Reports were reviewed. <br />High Grasses and pile Ecklund advised that Dr. Robert Thatcher, 1859 North <br />of Brush -Thatcher Snelling Avenue has given his permission for the <br />residence 1859 North Falcon Heights Fire Department to burn the pile of <br />Snelling Avenues brush and also the high grasses at the rear of his <br />property between Garden and Roselawn Avenue west of <br />Snelling Avenue. Dr. Thatcher stated he would be <br />responsible for cleaning the residue remaining after <br />it is burned. <br /> <br />1 <br />Ecklund moved, seconded by Stone that the Fire Department <br />be instructed to burn the brush pile and high grass <br />mentioned in preceding paragraph as part of drill <br />session on a regular drill night. Ayes= All. Nays: <br />None. Motion was carried. <br />
