2715 <br />1 <br />1. A public hearing will be held in the Village <br />Hall in said Village on June 6, 1968 at 8:00 o'clock PM <br />to consider said proposed improvements. <br />2. The nature of the improvements, the estimated <br />costs thereof, and the areas proposed to be assessed <br />therefor are described in the form of notice of hearing <br />hereinafter set forth. <br />3. The notice for said public hearing shall be in <br />substantially the following form: <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />ON THE CONSTRUCTION <br />OF SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS <br />1 <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Village Council of <br />the Village of Falcon Heights, Ramsey County, Minnesota, <br />that a public hearing will be held on Thursday the 6th <br />day of June, 1968, at 8:00 P.M. in the Village Hall of <br />the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota for thepurpose <br />of considering the construction of side~ralk improvements <br />on the south side of Larpenteur Avenue between the West <br />line of Snelling Avenue and the East Line of Fairv:i.ew <br />Avenue (projected) and both sides of Iowa Avenue between <br />the West line of Hamline Avenue and the East line of <br />Arona Avenue, pursuant to Minnesota Statues Sections <br />I~29.011 to l~29.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) . <br />The improvements include concrete sidewalk construction, <br />sidewalk removal where necessary and sod replacement <br />adjacent t o sidewalk. <br />The area proposed to be assess for such improvements <br />is the property abutting on those sides of the streets on <br />which const~tction of the sidewalk improvements is <br />proposed. <br />The total estimated cost of said side~ralk improve- <br />ments is $18,123. <br />Such persons as desire to be heard ti~rith reference <br />to the proposed sidewalk improvements will be heard at <br />this meeting. <br />Dated this 9th day of May, 1968. <br /> <br />May 22, 29, 1968. <br />Village Clerk <br />!~. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to cause notice of said hearing to be given <br />two publications in the official newspaper. S~.d <br />publications shall be one week apart, and at least three <br />days shall elapse between the last publication and the <br />hearing. The Village Clerk is also directed to give <br />mailed notice of the hearing tothe owner of each parcel <br />of land within the area to be assessed. <br />
