Severance Pay for
Full-Time Firemen:
Correspondence:
Application for
Christmas Tree Ifl.c
2822
Only one of the three full-time firemen, Stanley Schultz, will
be entitled to severance pay. Bertrand Slama, who reached the
age of 65 earlier this year, will be retiring; therefore, he
will not be involved. Herbert Nelson resigned as of November 30,
prior to abolition of the job.
The severance pay will be based on the length of service of
Stanley Schultz. It was computed as follows: 15.00 a year
for each year of service as a full-time paid fireman with
the 9'illage of Falcon Heights.
Mr. Prifrel said that severance pay is usually given at the
rate~~~of one week's pay for each year.
