2898 <br /> Geo. O'Leary Excavating - combined tatal $10,979.50. Work to be <br /> started in 10 days, completed Aug. 25. Councilman Black moved, <br /> seconded by Councilman Stone, that bids be given to Engineer <br /> Lemberg for tabulation and recommendation. Fd.ec- <br /> trical work would cost an additional $200. <br />Ordinance An ordinance regulating she use of highways within the Village of <br />No. 90: Falcon Heights, incorporating provisions of the T~Iinnesota Highway <br />Traffic Regulation Act and the Minnesota Driver's License Act by <br />reference, imposing penalties for the violation thereof and re- <br />pealing Ordinance Nos. 72 and 81. Mayor Warkentien moved that <br />Ordinance be adopted. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Black and passed. <br />Ordinance An ordinance regulating the locking of unattended motor vehicles. <br />Tdo. 91: Councilman Ecklund moved that Ordinance be adopted. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Black and passed. <br />Draft of Ordin- It was moved by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Clerk Taylor, that <br />ance by Attorney Attorney Seed be instructed to draft an ordinance relating to motor <br />Seed: (Request) vehicles on private parking lots, also placing entrance and exit <br />signs on private parking lots. T~Iotion passed. <br />1775 Fairview Mr. Anderson, 1775 Fairview, appeared before Council seeking in- <br />Subdivision: formation regarding subdividing his property. <br />Hamline Ave. Engineer Lemberg recommended that the bid of Arnold Kraft & Co. <br />Bid Accepted: (low bidder) be accepted contingent on receipt of signed agree- <br />ment from Village of Roseville, Mayor ~Jarkentien moved this bid <br />be accepted. Motion seconded by Clerk Taylor and passed. <br />Traffic Councilman Ecklund reported that in order for police to do most <br />Ordinances: efficient work, it is imperative that Falcon Heights traffic <br />ordinances coincide with those of neighboring municipalities. <br />Matter was tabled for the present. <br />Solicitors' The matter of registration of all solicitors except those solicit- <br />Lic~r3ses: ing for charitable organizations was discussed. A representative <br />from the Ramsey County S'heriff's office will appear at next meet- <br />ing to advise. <br />
