2113 1Nhite Bear Lake, North St. Paul and Falcon Heigktts desire to have a study made into the sanitary sager rates imposed by the city of St. Paul, and Sanitary Sewer WHEREAS Greeley and Hansen, Engineers, are competent Rats Study: professional engineers to study and report on the method utilified by the City of St. Paul ixr establishing sewer rates for suburban communities; and WH~EAS the Village of Roseville is entering into a contract with Greeley and Hansen, Engineers, for such study and report; NfNd, TfIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY 7HE Village of Falcon Heights Council as follo~rs: 1. The Village of Falcon Heights will pay to the Village of Roseville x].,000.00 to~rards the fees of Greeley and Hansen, Engineers (total not to exceed X1.6,000) for the study and report on sanitary suer rates. (Phis amount of X1.,000 shall be obtained from the revenue received in the Sanitary Sewer Rental Account.) 2. Said payment will be made within 13 days following completion of the report by Greeley and Hansen, Engineers, and invoicing to the Village of Falcon Heights by the Village of Roseville. Thos motion was seconded by Black. Upon a vote being taken, the follo:vi.ng was recorded: Voting in favor: Nilsen, Mortenson, Warkentien, Stone and Black. Againstz None. The Resolution was adopted by the Village Council of Falcon Heights this 27th day of May, 196?. Idaster Plumber License Mortenson moved, Warkentien seconded approval of application Approved: for Master Plumber's Licenseeffective May 15, 196l~ for Bill Schafhauser William Schafhauser of 1199 Albemarle, St. Paul, Minnesota. Plumbing: Motion was carried and clerk was instructed to issue License No. 102. Financial Statement end Carl Pearson, Certified Public Accountant, employed by the Audits Village to make final audit for the year 1963 was present. He presented to each member of the council the financial statements for the year ended December 31, 19b3 and the AccoLUrtant's Report and Comments. Machine Accounting of Pearson also presented copies of the January 196It run of Village Accounts: Village accounts which had been accomplished by the use of machine accounting. Ae advised that the Public Examiner of th8 State.: has not as yet approved of this system. It has been tried in villages before, but Public Examiner will not approve where village records must be taken out of village office. Pearson claims that this is not necessary to accomplish his system of machine accounting. H® will present cost figures at the n®xt council meeting.
