2138 WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection, NCB°J, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF FALCON HEIGHTS, l~IINNESOTA: 1. A Hearing shall be held on the 9th day of September 196t~ in the Village Hall at 8:00 P.~i. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to give a mailed and published notice of the Hearing on the proposed assessment as required by law. The published notice to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the Hearing, and he shall state in said notices the total cost of the improvement. Adopted by the Council this 72 th day of August 1961. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Warkentien and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Nilsen, Warkentien and Stone; and the following voted against the same: none. Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted. California Avenue Upon recommendation of Engineer Lemberg, Stone moved that Curb & Gutter - the Village Council accept the California Avenue Curb and Estimate No. 1 & Gutter Project and authorize final payment in the amount of Final-: X8,353.77 to C. S. McCrossan, Inc. Motion was seconded by '~larkentien and upon a vote being taken, motion was carried. Street Seal Coat Warkentien moved that the Village Council accept the street Project - Estimate seal coat project, upon recommendation of Engineer Lemberg. No. l: The motion was seconded by Stone and duly carried authorizing payment of X3,789.18 to C. S. ~IcCrossan, Inc. (amount to be retained is X1,000.00). Street Resurfacing Upon recommendation of Engineer Lemberg, Nilsen moved that Project 196l~ - the Council accept the Street Resurfacing Project of 196. Estimate No. 1 and and authorize final payment of 11,21x7.90. Motion was duly Final: seconded. by Warkentien and upon a vote being taken, motion was carried. Falcon Heights Church Engineer Lemberg advised that work on the Ponding area Ponding Area appears to be complete and is satisfactory. The parking Drainage - lot has yet to be dust-coated and oiled and the Church Barthel Villas: advisors contemplate blacktopping next year. It will not be used until dust coating has been completed. No Dumping signs requested: Stone moved that ~No Dumping' signs be purchased and placed at the Ponding area site. ~sotion was seconded by Nilsen and carried. Drainage Culvert on Lemberg was authorized by the Village Council to install a Ruggles and Simpsona new drainage culvert on Ruggles and Simpson. Ken warn will be notified and instructed to install culvert.
