2143 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINPI~SOTA: <br />1. A Hearing shall be held on the 23rd day of <br />September in the Village Hall at 8:00 P.I~, to pass upon <br />such proposed assessment and at such time and place <br />all persons owning property affected by such improvement <br />will be given an opportunity to be heard tivith reference <br />to such assessment. <br />2. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to cause <br />a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to <br />be published once in the official newspaper at least two <br />weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the <br />notice the total cost of the improvement. <br />The motion to adopt the foregoing resolution was seconded <br />by Warkentien and upon a vote being taken, the motion <br />was carried. The above resolution was adopted by the <br />Village Council this 26th day of August 1964. <br />Swirmning Pools: Discussion was held regarding advisability of establishing <br />minimum requirements in the building of individually o~med <br />swimming pools, Tt was felt that a structural engineer <br />should be consulted regarding this matter and that <br />possibly an ordinance could be adopted. This would be <br />in the interest and for the protection of Falcon Heights <br />citizens. <br />Application for Rezoning Nilsen moved the adoption of the following; resolution: <br />submitted by Art Lindig: <br />~YFiEREA5, Arthur Lindig acting individually for <br />himself and for Lindig Greenhouses, Inc. has presented <br />a petition for rezoning the north 53.51 feet of the <br />south 353.51 feet of Lot 5, ffiock 2 of Lindig Addition, and <br />WHEREAS, said Pe tition is accompanied by a certified <br />copy of the owners within 300 feet of the adjacent <br />property, and <br />Petition referred to ~°~FIER~:AS, the petition has been signed by more <br />Planning Commissions thin fifty per cent of the owners of the property <br />adjacent within 300 feet, and <br />~~'HEREAS, proper application has been presented to <br />the Village Council of Falcon Heights, along withthe <br />rezoning application fee of X35.00, <br />T1OVd, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE <br />COUNCII, OF FALCON HEIGHTS, 2~gT~tI~~ESOTA that said <br />petition be referred to the Planning Commission in <br />accordance with Ordinance 6~., Section 16.6, subdivision <br />5. <br />1 <br />G <br />The motion to adopt the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Black and. upon a vote being taken, the <br />resolution was adopted by the Village Gouncil on this <br />26th day of August 196t~. <br />
