2143 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINPI~SOTA: 1. A Hearing shall be held on the 23rd day of September in the Village Hall at 8:00 P.I~, to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard tivith reference to such assessment. 2. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The motion to adopt the foregoing resolution was seconded by Warkentien and upon a vote being taken, the motion was carried. The above resolution was adopted by the Village Council this 26th day of August 1964. Swirmning Pools: Discussion was held regarding advisability of establishing minimum requirements in the building of individually o~med swimming pools, Tt was felt that a structural engineer should be consulted regarding this matter and that possibly an ordinance could be adopted. This would be in the interest and for the protection of Falcon Heights citizens. Application for Rezoning Nilsen moved the adoption of the following; resolution: submitted by Art Lindig: ~YFiEREA5, Arthur Lindig acting individually for himself and for Lindig Greenhouses, Inc. has presented a petition for rezoning the north 53.51 feet of the south 353.51 feet of Lot 5, ffiock 2 of Lindig Addition, and WHEREAS, said Pe tition is accompanied by a certified copy of the owners within 300 feet of the adjacent property, and Petition referred to ~°~FIER~:AS, the petition has been signed by more Planning Commissions thin fifty per cent of the owners of the property adjacent within 300 feet, and ~~'HEREAS, proper application has been presented to the Village Council of Falcon Heights, along withthe rezoning application fee of X35.00, T1OVd, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCII, OF FALCON HEIGHTS, 2~gT~tI~~ESOTA that said petition be referred to the Planning Commission in accordance with Ordinance 6~., Section 16.6, subdivision 5. 1 G The motion to adopt the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Black and. upon a vote being taken, the resolution was adopted by the Village Gouncil on this 26th day of August 196t~.
