2291 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNC ZL <br />Street and Alley OF THE Village of Falcon Heights that the Village <br />Maintenance Project Clerk be authorized to make payment of $lt,230.l~0 <br />1965 (Cont'd) to T. A. Schifsky and Sons, Inc., 2319 Second St. <br />No., No. St. Paul, Minnesota for the Street and <br />Alley Maintenance Project of 1965. <br />Motion was seconded by Black and upon a vote being <br />taken, the foLlovring voted for sames Warkentien, <br />Stone, Black and Strandquist and the following <br />voted against the same: None. Whereupon the <br />foregoing motion was declared adopted this 22nd <br />day of September 1965. <br />Snow Plow - Holly~rood Ramsey County has informed council, that snow plow <br />Courts has been damaged in the past from low hanging tree <br />branches in Hollywood Court alleys. Village Clerk <br />was instructed to write to property owners stating <br />.that unless trees are properly trimmed, the snow <br />plow will not plow the alleys this coming winter. <br />Young Republicans Meet Village Council granted request of Steve Kellett, <br />in Village Halls 2803 Harrington for use of Village Hall for Young <br /> Republican Meeting on September 23, 1965 at 8s00 P.M. <br />Northeast Area Storm Warkentien will contact Roseville Manager Richard <br />Sewer Improvement 65-1s Turnlund in an effort to set a meeting on Monday <br /> evening, September 27 of the Falcon Heights Council <br /> and the Roseville Council to discuss proposed <br /> Northeast Area Storm Sewer Improvement 65-1. <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Rezoning application Acting Mayor Warkent~.en opened the Public Hearing <br />A.A.Bilski for considering the application of A.A. Bilski to <br />1705 North Clevelands rezone the foll~ing~described property from R-1 <br /> to B-lA. classifications <br />Sub to Cleveland Ave E l~6b 6/l0O ft of <br />N 373 35/100 ft of SE 1/!~ of SE 1/~. of <br />17 292317 <br />Clerk Strandquist read official notice of hearing on <br />the rezoning application. The Falcon Heights Planning <br />Commission held Hearing on Septemb®r 20, 1965 (post- <br />poned from September 15 due to lack of a quorum present). <br />The Planning Commission has recommended that the A. A. <br />Bilski property and the two adjacent lots in this <br />isolated area remain as R-1 until there is a petition <br />for all three lots to be rezoned at B-lA,. <br />Mr. John Daubney, attorney representing B. V. Marschke, <br />stated that if R-1 classif ication remains, his client <br />would suffer substantial financial loss. George Nelson, <br />1689 North Cleveland stated he has no objection to the <br />rezoning of his lot (being the only one of the three <br />that has not petitioned) if such rezoning would not <br />have any affect on the taxes. Attorney Daubney <br />stated he would contact the County Assessor in an <br />effort to determine whether or not the rezoning would <br />affect taxes. <br />
