Mr, Kline stated sign would be illuminated <br />for five seconds and off for approximately five seconds. <br />Black initialed sketch showing approval. <br />Tom Thumb Market - Copy of letter from McMenomy, Hertogs and Fluegel, <br />Sale of Beer: Attorneys for Polka Dot Dairies (owner of Tom Thumb <br />Market) was in regard to sale af' 3.2 beer at the Tom <br />Thumb Market. <br />Resolution to Nilsen introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />Charles K. Otis, adoption: <br />former member of <br />Planning Commissions WHEREAS, Charles K. Otis has served on the Planning <br />Co~runission from January 1, 1951 to December 31, 1965, and <br />WHEREAS, he has given generously of his time and <br />effort to work in Village Planning utters, and <br />WHEREAS, he has served as Secretary of this Commission, <br />N(~U6, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council <br />of the Village of Falcon Heights, shall and it hereby does, <br />note in its official records, it appreciation and thanks <br />to Charles K, Otis for his very generous donations of time <br />and energies to the Village and its citizens. <br />Motion was duly seconded by Warkentien and upon a vote, <br />resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />Hamline Avenue Water Copy of Engineer's letter dated January 2~, 1966 to the <br />Service: Public Works Department of Roseville requested complete <br />hook up and service costs that Roseville would charge to <br />service the area of Hamline Avenue between Garden and <br />Roselawn Avenue with water. <br />Twin City Lines Bus In answer to Twin City Lines, Inc. letter dated January 19 <br />Route - Roselawn and 1966, Stone moved, Strandquist seconded that letter be <br />Hamline Avenue: addressed to them advising that Village of Falcon Heights <br />Council has no objection to operations of the bus route on <br />Roselawn Avenue to Hemline Avenue effective March 15, 1966 <br />and permanently thereafter. Motion carried. <br />Proposed Street to As requested by Council, Engineer Lemberg submitted recommend- <br />Fairgrounds from ations concerning the proposed. construction of new entrance to <br />Larpenteur Avenues the Fairgrounds from Larpenteur Avenue (extension of Fry Street). <br />Said recommendations are included in engineer's letter of <br />January 19, 196b. Black moved, seconded by Warkentien that <br />contents of said letter, including council revisions, be <br />forwarded to State Fair Board. Ayers All.
