23l~7 <br />Resolution Accepting Warkenti.en introduced the following resolution <br />Bid for Poliee Cara and moved its adoption: <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids <br />for the purchase of a 1966 two-door six-passenger <br />sedan to be used as the Village police car, bids <br />were received, opened and tabulated according to <br />law, on February 23, and the acceptance of a bid <br />was continued until March 9, 1966, for purposes of <br />determining the reasonableness of said bid, the <br />fact that it complied with the specifications and <br />the responsibility of the bidder, and the following <br />bid was received and determined to have complied <br />with the advertisement: <br />Fairview Plymouth (bid with trade-i.n allowance <br />and with installation costs of X100) - <br />Total ~7.,l~98.00 and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Fairview Plymouth of <br />Saint Paul, Minnesota is the only bidder and is also <br />the lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VTLLAGE <br />COUNCIL OF FALCON HETC~iTS, MINNESOTAs <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into the contract, a copy of <br />which is vn file with the Clerk, with Fairview <br />Plymouth of Saint Paul, Minnesota, in the name of <br />the Village of Falcon Heights for the purchase of <br />said 1966 two-door six-passenger Plymouth sedan <br />according to the specifications therefor approved <br />by the Village Council and on file in the office <br />of the Village Clerk. <br />2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to retain the deposit of the successful <br />bidder until the contract has been executed. <br />The motion was seconded by Stone and upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted for same: Nilsen, <br />Stone, Black and Warkentien and the following voted <br />against samea None. Whereupon said resolution was <br />adopted by the Village Council this 9th day of <br />March 1966. <br />Resolution Authorizing an <br />Agreement betoireen the Stone introduced the following resolution and moved <br />Villages of Falcon Heights, its adoption: <br />Roseville and Ramsey County <br />for the Construction of a WIiERE~iS, pursuant to public hearing and action <br />Joint Storm Severer Facility of the Village Council of Falcon Heights, said <br />-Improvement 65 I Council has ordered the improvement of that portion <br />(66-1): of the Village bounded by Hemline Avenue, I~arpsnteur <br />Avenue, Snelling Avenue and Roselawn Avenue by con- <br />struction of a storm sewer drainage area and <br />accessory facilities; and <br />i <br />1 <br />1 <br />
