23l~7 Resolution Accepting Warkenti.en introduced the following resolution Bid for Poliee Cara and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the purchase of a 1966 two-door six-passenger sedan to be used as the Village police car, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, on February 23, and the acceptance of a bid was continued until March 9, 1966, for purposes of determining the reasonableness of said bid, the fact that it complied with the specifications and the responsibility of the bidder, and the following bid was received and determined to have complied with the advertisement: Fairview Plymouth (bid with trade-i.n allowance and with installation costs of X100) - Total ~7.,l~98.00 and WHEREAS, it appears that Fairview Plymouth of Saint Paul, Minnesota is the only bidder and is also the lowest responsible bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VTLLAGE COUNCIL OF FALCON HETC~iTS, MINNESOTAs 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract, a copy of which is vn file with the Clerk, with Fairview Plymouth of Saint Paul, Minnesota, in the name of the Village of Falcon Heights for the purchase of said 1966 two-door six-passenger Plymouth sedan according to the specifications therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk. 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to retain the deposit of the successful bidder until the contract has been executed. The motion was seconded by Stone and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted for same: Nilsen, Stone, Black and Warkentien and the following voted against samea None. Whereupon said resolution was adopted by the Village Council this 9th day of March 1966.
