Mayor Nilsen <br />commented that it was almost impossible to handle this <br />type of pro3ect on village~wri.de basis. <br />Resolution Ordering Stone introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />Construction of adoption: <br />Hoyt Avenue3ide- <br />walk, Curb and lfl~[ERF,AS, after due notice of public hearing on the <br />Gutter Improve- construction of Hoyt Avenue sidewalk, curb and gutter <br />menu and improvements for. the Village of Falcon Heights, a hearing <br />Directing Preparation on said improvements was duly held on August 31, 1966 <br />of Final Plans and and September 1l~, 1966, and the Council has heard all <br />Specifications parsons desiring to be .heard on the matter and has fully <br />considered the same, <br />NfJi~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council <br />of the Village of Falcon.Hei.ghts, Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. That it is advisable, expedient and necessary <br />that the Village of Falcon Heights construct said improve- <br />ments as described in the notice of hearing thereon and <br />orders th.e same to be made. <br />2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates are <br />hereby designated as engineers for this improvement and <br />are hereby directed to prepare final plans and specifications <br />for the making of said improvement. <br />Motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly • <br />seconded by Black, and upon a vote being taken thereon <br />the following voted in favor thereofs Nilsen, Warkentien, <br />Stone and Black, and the following voted against the same: <br />None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed <br />and adopted. <br />Resolution Limiting Stone introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />the Amount of adoption: <br />Assessment for the <br />Hoyt Avenue BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village <br />Improvements of Falcon Heights,.as follows: <br />1. The amount to be specially assessed against <br />benefited properties shall not exceed ~2.~0 per front <br />foot for the installation of curb and gutter. <br />~. The amount to be specially assessed against <br />benefited. properties for the cons traction of sidewalks <br />sha71 not emceed the cost of a four (!t) feet wide sidewalk, <br />even though the sidewalk installed is six (6) feet in width. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Black and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Nilsen Warkentien, <br />Stone and Black and the following voted against the same: • <br />None.
