2607 <br />shall be paid by the Village of Falcon Heights. <br />Ayes: Nilsen, Strandquist, Black, Stone and <br />Warkentien. Nayss None. Motion was carried. <br />Fire Department Discussion was held regarding actuarial survey of <br />Relief Association Fire Department Relief Association. <br />Actuarial Survey: <br />Transfer of Funds - Stone introduced the following resolution and moved <br />Sewer Rental: its adoptions <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of Falcon <br />Heights that the Village Treasurer be authorized to <br />transfer ~l~000 from the Sewer Rental Rand to the <br />General Fund in accordance with decision made in <br />approving the budget for 1967. Motion was duly <br />seconded by Warkentien and upon a vote, the following <br />voted for same: Nilsen, Strandquist, Black, Stone <br />and Warkentien and the following voted against same: <br />None. Whereupon said resolution was declared passed. <br /> Parking on St. Mary's Vicki Jacobson of 1703 St. Mary's Street was present <br /> Streets to voice complaint that business people park cars in <br /> front of her house from 2`x30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and <br />• requested council action to prohibit same. Miss <br /> Jacobson was advised that consideration would be <br /> • given to her request. <br /> HEARING <br /> Falcon Heights Continuation of Public Hearing until September 1l~, <br /> Congregational 1967 was approved by resolution at council meeting <br />• Church - of August 2l~, 1967. Hearing regarding Supplemental <br /> Supplemental Assessments and Re-assessments against the Falcon <br /> Assessmentw Water- Heights Congregational Church was called to order at <br /> main 1960 #1 & 8:00 P.M. with Ray Hardy and Roger Short representing <br /> Sanitary Sewer the church. <br /> Improvement <br /> 1957= Mayor Nilsen read report submitted by Engineer Lemberg <br /> and Lemberg reviewed the drainage problem, which <br /> presently exists. The trouble spots were designated <br /> using an illustration of the area. It was brought <br /> out that at the time the parking lot was installed, <br /> same was made to drain into the drainage ditch. Short <br /> stated that grater presently collects on the north <br /> part of the parking lot. He also stated that he <br /> believes the most satisfactory solution is to <br /> construct an inlet that ~rould drain water into <br /> the storm sewer. He also stated that four of the <br /> lots concerned have not been benefited and he is <br /> of the opinion that assessments should be abated <br /> until such time as the improvements are utilized. <br /> The other two lots facing Pascal may never be <br />used for parking, and no plans have been made to <br /> _ date for use of the two lots. <br />
