2629 <br />Claim;Filed - Due to the fact that Mrs. Molkenthin, 1397 West Hoyt <br />Hoyt Avenue Avenue, brought forth a letter stating claim and objection <br />Sidewalk and against assessment, Black moved, seconded by Stone that <br />Curb and Gutters the above motion be rescinded. Ayes: All. Nays: Non®. <br />Motion was carried. <br />Mrs. Molkenthin objected stating that sod is not properly <br />laid and terrain is not in a satisfactory condition as <br />it was previously. She claims that the irons are driven <br />down to a lower elevation, and the iron to the east is not <br />in the correct place and to~the west cannot locate same. <br />The sidewalk, she contends, is crooked, and there are <br />bubbles in it and it is crumbling. <br />Resolution After Mrs. Pdolkenthin~s claim had been duly received and <br />Adopting filed with the Village Clerk, Black re-introduced the <br />Assessments ~ rescinded resc~lution~and moved its adoption. Motion was duly <br /> seconded by Stone and upon a vote being taken, the <br /> following voted fbr same: Nilsen, Strandquist, Stone <br /> Warkentien and Black and the following voted in oppositions <br /> None. Whereupon resolution was declared duly passed and <br /> . <br />adopted this 11th day of October 1967. <br />Resolution Reducing Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved <br />Tax Levy for 1968 - its adoption. <br />WaterMain Improve- <br />ment 1963 Levy: WHEREAS, in Section 6 of a resolution entitled <br /> 'Resolution Providing for the Issuance and Sale of Water- <br /> main and Sanitary Sewer Improvement Bonds of 1963,Ft <br /> adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Falcon <br /> Heights, Minnesota on September 11, 1963, there was levied <br /> upon all of the taxable property in the Village a direct <br /> general ad valorem tax in the amount of X3,000 to be spread <br /> upon the tax rolls and collected with and as a part of the <br /> other general property, ta~,es in said Village for the year <br />~ <br />` 1967, <br />to provide for moneys for the payment of principal <br /> and interest on said bonds; and <br />1IVHEREAS, under Section x.75.61, Subd. 3 of the Minnesota <br />Statutes said tax levy is irrevocable unless there is on <br />hand an excess amount in the Sinking Fund and the fact and <br />amount thereof is certified to the County Auditor, in which <br />case the County Auditor shall reduce by the amount so <br />certified the amount otherwise to be included in the rolls <br />next thereafter prepared; and <br />` ~ WHEREAS, there is now on hand in the Watermain and <br />Sanitary Sewer Improvements of 1963 Fund an excess amount <br />greater than $3000 and the Village Council deems it <br />advisable to have this fact certified to the County <br />Auditor under Section 175.61, Subd. 3 of the Minnesota <br />Statutes so that the County Auditor will so reduce the tax <br />levy heretofore made, <br />NONE, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCI L <br />OF THE VILLAGE OF FALCON.HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Village Council hereby determines that there <br />is on hand in the Watsrmain and Sanitary Sewer Improvements <br />~, l.- a <br />
