9~0 <br />RESOLDTION RESQLVED: Whereas, a report has been prepared and submitted to <br />contd. the Council by P~,tilner W. Carley ~ Associates with reference to <br />Storm Sewer Improvement #1 for the construction of a Storm <br />Sewer on Crawford from Ast;ury to Simpson, and on Arona from <br />Crawford to California, and on the alley between Larpenteur <br />Avenue and Crawford Street, running approximately 150 feet <br />west of Arona. Avenue in the alley, and the engineers have <br />determined that the proposed improvement is feasible and should <br />best be made as a separate storm sewer improvement as proposed <br />NOW THERF~'ORE, 3E IT RESOLVED HY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, "dINATESOTA: <br />(1) The Council will consider proposed Storm Sewer Improve- <br />ment #~l in accordance with the report of yiilner tn;'. Carley & <br />Associates, dated rasarch 6th, 1958, and the assessment of all <br />or a portion of the cost of the improvement against the bene- <br />fitted property pursuant to ^.~ginnesota Statute, Sections <br />lt29.011 to )29.111 at an estimated total cost of X618,150.00. <br />(2) A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement <br />on Monday, the 2ltth day of P~iarch 1958 in the Council Chambers <br />in the Village Hall, 16~.l~ Larpenteur Avenue, Falcon Heights, <br />Minnesota at 7:30 P. ,~~2. , and the Y~2ayor shall dive published <br />notice of such hearing and. improvement as required by law. <br />Streets: Mr. Steffen, of the firm of Toltz, King, Duvall, .Anderson & <br />Associates, Inc., Engineers for the Sanitary Sewer System, <br />.reported on the meeting; held at our Village Hall at 9 A. 4~~. <br />'march 5th, attended by: Paul Coppini, Village Councilman; <br />F.~r. ~~'ernon Ljungren, Village Engineer; 1;'r. Streets which showed. breakup last fall shortly after re- <br />surfacing shall he repaired by Peter Lametti Construction Co. <br />should. breakup occur. These repairs will be temporary. Per- <br />manent repairs will be made in Springy, weather conditions <br />permitting. <br />2. Surfaced streets where breakup occurs this spring prior to <br />time permanent repairs can be made shall be repaired by the <br />County under a work order to be approved by the Village Council. <br />3. Final repairs to surfaced streets shall be made by Peter <br />Lametti Construction Company at the-i.r expense. Exception to <br />this order would. be repairs to surfaced streets which become <br />necessary at locations where drainage is poor and breakup is not <br />caused by contractor's backfilling or stabilizing. Village <br />shall assume responsibility for repairing streets where poor <br />drainage exists. The contractor shall repair the following <br />streets a his expense: <br />(A} Ruggles - Arona to Pascal <br />(~) Pascal - Ruggles +.,o Roselawn <br />(C) Arona - Ruggles to Roselawn <br />(D) Simpson - except for the intersection at Crawford. <br /> <br />i~ <br />
