~~~~ <br />work for the Sanitary Sewer Construction at Falcon Heights <br />was made on Saturday, July 12th, with the Village Council; <br />and Mayor Nilsen had asked Steffes to write Bronson with re- <br />gard to the resurfacing of Garden from Pascal to Ha*~line; <br />Hamline from Hoyt to Roselawn; and the restoration of ditches <br />along the south side of Roselawn from Fairview to Autumn; and <br />Roselawn one block along the south side between Holton and <br />Pascal. Resurfacing and restoration of ditches, including <br />sodding along Larpenteur Avenue was completed last fall. The <br />Village should have the County's approval and acceptance of all <br />the work restored to its original condition where the sanitary <br />sewer construction took place on and along the County Roads. <br />Manholes Letter written by Steffes to Jay W. Craig Co., 1814 California <br />Ave., Minneapolis, was read. It stated the manholes at the <br />following locations require cleaning and adjustment: Holton <br />300' north of Garden; Albert at Roselawn; Albert 300' north <br />of Roselawn; Ruggles and Asbury; and Ruggles and Arona. <br />Tatum St. Attorney Graham's letter to Mr. & Mrs. ~iernon Whitloff advising <br />that tie Council had determined that they would not at this <br />time put in culverts to the East and to the West of Tatum Street <br />was read. He also stated he was returning to them the original <br />easement dated June 26th, 1958, giving the Village an easement <br />across their property in connection with putting the c~:lvert to <br />West of Tatum St. Since the Village will not be using this <br />easement, they may destroy it. <br />Dogs Letter from Jack Ziegler to Mr. & Mrs. Pranke, regarding dog <br />trouble was read and filed. <br />Barthel Petition regarding Barthel Villas was read and discussed and it <br />Villas was decided to turn it over to Attorney Graham who will contact <br />the attorneys for Barthel and see if they can come to some <br />agreement. <br />Storm Shavor made up a list of questions he would like Vern Ljungren <br />Sewer to check regarding the old County Storm Sewer on Garden, <br />east of Hamline, and the assist-ant clerk was asked to deliver <br />it to Ljungren Friday, July 18th. <br />F. H. Congre- There was some discussion about the piles of dirt on the park- <br />gational ing lot belong to the Falcon Heights Congregational Church. <br />Church Park- Warkentien will make inquiries as to who put the dirt there <br />ing lot and what is to be done with it, etc. <br />Requisition It was moved by Warkentien, seconded by Utecht and unanimously <br />#148 voted to approve the Fire Department's Req. #148 calling for: <br />2 - h" Mystery Brass finished nozzles, 70 GPM at 51.70 ea, <br />less 20~ <br />2 - 5 gal. cans Rockw od Foam liquid, regular strength 4.00 gal. <br />2 - 12 qt galvanized water pails 1.00 ea. <br />Cigarette It was moved by Utecht, seconded by Nilsen and unanimously voted <br />licenses to grant cigarette licen ses to the followings <br /> Falcon Oil Sta., 1350 W. Larpenteur, St. Paul, 13. (Pioneer Co.) #99 <br /> Shell Oil Sta., 1407 W. Larpenteur, St. Paul, 13.
