Seconded by <br /> llfarkentien and. carried. <br />Metering Letter from L~ungren advised that Mr. Flack of the St. Paul <br />Station Water Departrsent had said rater to be used at the metering <br /> station xould cost the Village X8.00 a year. He assumed there <br /> xould be an additional sewer rental charge, and referred us to <br /> Mr. Jack Stadler. Stadler stated it xas his opinion that the <br /> sewer charge would also be X8.00 a year. He suggested xe <br /> process a sewer connection permit and this xould clarify the <br /> matter. <br /> It was moved by Shavor, seconded by Nilsen and unanimously <br /> voted that the Deputy Clerk process a serer connection permit <br /> and xrite Stadler as requested. <br />Water for Letter from Emmet D. Williams, Superintendent of Schools, <br />Gibbs School asking if there xas any possibility of our being able to furnish <br /> rater to the Gibbs School, xas read and the Deputy Clerk instructed <br /> to write Mr. Williams and tell him xe do not expect to extend the <br /> rater line far enough to service Gibbs School. <br />Office It xas moved by Warkentien, seconded by Nilsen and unanimously <br />Supplies voted that the following order for office supplies be approved: <br /> McClain, Redman, Scheldt Co.: 500 sheets Eaton's Berkshire <br /> T3rpewriter paper, 5 - 100 sheet fillers, and 1 typewriter ribbon. <br />Dogs There was a discussion regarding dogs. Warkentien rill investigate <br /> cost and advisability of dog catcher service and rill report at a <br /> later meeting. <br />Trash Bizrn- Proposed Trash Burning Ordinance xas discussed. Utecht rill give <br />ing Ord. the matter further study and submit a proposed ordinance soon. <br />Police Rules After discussion, it xas moved by Warkentien, seconded by Utecht <br />& Regulations and unanimously voted that the following Police Rules and Regu- <br /> lations be adopted: <br /> RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING VILLAGE POLICE OFFICERS: <br /> BE IT`RF50LVED, that the Villa~*e Council of the Village of Falcon <br /> Heights Minnesota, hereby adopts the following rules and regula- <br /> tions to govern Village Police Officers: <br /> 1. The Polioe Officers rill be directly responsible to and <br /> under the immediate supervision of the Public Safety Commissioner <br /> , <br />or, in his absence, the Mayor, or the Village official designated <br /> by the Mayor. <br />2. The hours of xork for full time officers rill bes <br />(a) Eight hours per day,~five days a reek, a total <br />xork reek of forty hours. <br />(b) Overtime rill be paid for at the rate of ffi2.00 <br />
