1315 <br />Copy of Graham's letter of December 11th to Conpini regarding <br />proposed vacation of a dedicated walk, block 1, 3arthel Villas, <br />Between Pascal and Holton, at approximately Ruggles, was read. <br />It advised that under Sec. X12.851 ':Minn. Stats., the Village <br />Council may vacate any street, alley or public grounds by resolu- <br />tion on petition of.the majority of the owners of land a'r.,utting. <br />Pdo vaca±ion can be done unless it is for the interest of the <br />public and until after a hearing preceded. by two wF:~eks published <br />and posted notice. Petition should be signed by the wives as well <br />as the husbands, <br />Letter from B-I-F Industries, Inc. vras read. Yt advised they had <br />received report from P~~r. Harold ~3ugg, P:,Zilwaukee Office P,Tanager, <br />and agree with his findings. The Deputy Clerk was instructed to <br />write them to ascertain the exact amount of the credit due the <br />Vi ~_lage. <br />Letter from P.?etronolitan Beer Distributors Association was read, <br />They requested a list of 3.2 licenses issued by the Village for <br />the current year, showing proprietor's name and correct address. <br />The Deputy CIS-;rk vras instructed to send them such a list. <br />Cony of Graham's letter of December ?9th to Justices Riley and <br />Hinderman tivas read. It advised that Village Ordinance No. 56, <br />passed. by the Council November 2)~th, 1959, became effective <br />December 3rd, 1959, vrhen it vras published in the F~ose Tribune, <br />and adopts, by reference, the provisions of T~~innesot,a Statutes <br />Ghapter 169, the Pviin~esota Highway Traffic Regulation Act, as well <br />as certain provisions of Charier 171, the Drivers License Act and <br />certain provisions of Chapter 168, the Chauffer's License Act, and <br />a-plies to all traffic viola±,ions in the Village of Falcon Heights <br />after December 3rd, 1959.
