Crawford from Snelling to Arona. <br />Sewer Rental The Deputy Clerk was instructed to advise the Council of <br />the maintenance cost of the sewer. <br />Sewer Connec- The Deputy Clerk was instructed to contact Cities Service <br />tions. Oil Company regarding sewer connection at their station at <br />Larpenteur and Snelling. <br />Assessed Clerk Mortenson advised he had contacted the County Auditor's <br />Valuations. Office and was given the following tentative figures, sub3ect <br />to slight change. <br />Total Assessed Valuation last year $3,329,727. <br />" " " this year ~3,399,l~78. <br />Personal property was down ~Lt,b00.00. Real estate increased <br />~7l~,351.00. <br />Local Assess- Letter from J. D. Stiran, County Auditor's Office, regarding <br />meats meeting arranged for September 20th, 19b1, Roseville <br />Council Chambers, 8 P. M, relative to the assessment for <br />local improvements levied by the various municipalities, <br />was read and filed to come up at the next Council Meeting, <br />September 1ltth. <br />Ordinances: Letter from Mrs. Douglas Fell recommending that a copy of <br />ordinances pertaining to all house-holders in the Village be <br />sent to each home, was read. Mayor Nilsen advised he had <br />contacted Mrs. Weigel of the League of Women Voters who said <br />she would recommend prompt distribution of the booklet on <br />ordinances, which the League compiled last Fall, to areas <br />not yet covered. <br />Planning Copies of Carta+vright's letters to Dahlgren, Planner, and <br />Mayor Nilsen were read. They asked Dahlgren if it would be <br />possible for him to have summaries of ordinances and copies <br />of zoning map ready for an informational meeting to be held <br />about the middle of September and estimated $800.00 to <br />$1000.00 would be ample to meet the Planning Commission's <br />3udget for the year 1962. <br />Burning Due to the many complaints of burning materials with an <br />Ordinance offensive odor after hours, Trustee Warkentien was asked to <br />contact Police Commissioner Arndt requesting that the police <br />officers try to locate offenders and give them a copy of the <br />burning ordinance with the warning that a sdcond offense will <br />carry a fine. <br />Resignations Letter of August 2ltth from Trustee Paul L.
