1739 <br />Street It was moved by Stone, seconded by ~varkentien and voted that <br />Sweeping: McPhillips be engaged at 115.50 per hour to do the necessary <br />street sweeping and that the Village Engineer be .instructed <br />to order the work done at the earliest possible moment. <br />Street Engineer Lemberg will make up a map showing which streets are <br />Maintenance: Village Streets, County Roads, State Highways and Municipal <br />State Arid Streets for use of the men who are doing street <br />maintenance work. <br />Chain Link Engineer Lemberg advised they had let out 5 sets of vlans <br />Fence: for the Chain Link Fence to be constructed a.t the Idaho- <br />Snelling Playground and Ponding Area. <br />Land Use It was moved by Stone, seconded by Mortenson and voted to <br />Plans approve the following resolution: <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Falcon Heights has retained a Vi~.lage <br />Planning Consultant, and said Planning Consultant has recommended <br />a Land Use Plan and Street Plan for adoption by the Vi7.lage of <br />Falcon Heists, and <br />WHEREAS, the Village Consulting Engineers have reviewed the <br />Land Use Plan and Street Plan and made such recommendations <br />that are consistent and rec}uired by local engineering and <br />construction problems, and <br />WHEREAS, said future Land Use Plan, dated the 2ltth day of <br />February, 1962, has been submitted to the Village Council of <br />the Village of Falcon Heights, together with a Street Use <br />Plan dated February 2~, 1962, and <br />WHEREAS, said future Land Use Plan and Street Use Plan, <br />copies of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br />are hereby approved by the Village Council of the Village of <br />Falcon Heights; <br />NCW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />(1) That the future Land Use Plan and Street Use Plan are <br />hereby adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Falcon <br />Heights. <br />(2) The Clerk is hereby instructed and directed to file and <br />maintain copies of said plans in the Village Office, 16l~1~ <br />W. Larpenteur Avenue, and to publish notice of a public <br />hearing to be held R4ay 9, 1962 on the Street Plan, said notice <br />to appear at least ten (10) days prior to the date of hearing <br />in the official Village newspaper, and said notice to state <br />that the hearing will commence at $ p. m. in the Village Hall, . <br />16l~l~ West Larpenteur Avenue, St. Paul, 13, Minnesota. <br />Mayor Nilsen arrived at this point. <br /> <br />
