_~.. <br />~; <br />it <br />V~(HEREAS, the fare for a ride wholly within the Village of Falcon Heights is to be <br />five cents (5¢) per passenger, and the fare for a ride from inside Falcon Heights <br />to a point inside the City of St. Paul is to be five cents (5¢) plus the author- <br />ized street car fare in the City of St. Paul, with transfer privilebes in accord- <br />ance with the transfer rules of The St. Paul City Railway Company, <br />IV'OW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of ~,he Village of Falcon <br />Heights that it approves the application of the St. Paul City Railway Company <br />for a Certificate of Public Convenience and ~lecessity permitting discontinuance <br />of its present bus line as now operated, and in lieu thereof operation of the re- <br />routed bus line over the streets and avenues described herein and in accordance <br />with the terms and conditions set forth above, and <br />BE IT FURTH~. RESOLVED, that the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights <br />hereby requests the Railroad and Vdarehouse Commission of the State of Minnesota <br />to approve said application and issue its order granting a Certificate of public <br />Convenience and PJecessity permitting the operation of said bus line in accordance <br />with .the terms and conditions of this resolution. <br />Rysgaard moved, seconded by Shavor, that the resolution be adopted. <br />Lotion carried. <br /> <br />i~ <br />Withdrawal of Mr. Bouthilet, attorney, presented two requests for rezoning and re- <br />requests sub- quested permission to withdraw the request submitted to the meeting <br />witted by held October 25 because of some errors in description. Upon motion <br />Bouthilet. duly made by Shavor, seconded by Rysgaard, and passed, p,~r. Bouthilet <br /> was permitted to withdraw the request for rezoning submitted at the <br /> meeting of October 25. Matteson stated the petitions submitted by <br /> Mr. Bouthilet at this meeting would be accepted by the clerk but <br /> that the council action would have to tivait until other matters were <br /> disposed of . <br />REquest for Stan Seaborn requested an ordinance which would control the burning <br />fire and tree of refuse and debris and which would. empower the village to handle <br />trimming ordi- the trimming of boulevard trees and assess the residents on an equit- <br />nance. able basis. Seaborn and Harry t.nderson were appointed as a committee <br /> to gather the necessary material for the ordinance. <br />Representatives p,~atteson moved that Shavor and Lindig be authorized to represent <br />to Community the Village of Falcon Heights council at the community planning in- <br />Planning Institute stitute to be held at the University of l~~innesot a on November 18 and <br />19.
