<br />stated that he plans to service Falcon Heights, Roseville and
<br />Lauderdale on the basis oP rates similar to those in Minneapolis
<br />or 8t Paul. Proposes to operate a radio cab to begin with and
<br />to put on additional cabs if necessary. After disousaion, Mr.
<br />Wise wen informed that the council was interested and would ask
<br />Attorney Graham to check the ordinances to see what oan be done
<br />in this oonnection.
<br />W. L. Nofsker Mr. Nofsker and police officer Henry Dachtera appeared before
<br />reports home the oouncil in connection with the burglarizing of the Nofsker
<br />burglarized. home, at 1729 No. Snelling Avenue, Tuesday evening, February 21.
<br />Mr. Nofsker reported the loss of over $1,000 in money and
<br />jewelry, e¢zd that his family and neighbors are quite upset over
<br />the matter. Said that Dachtera and the Sheriff's office were
<br />called and that they were investigating the cage but without
<br />success so Par.

<br />boxing franchise. Attorney Graham stated that in connection with an inquiry received
<br />by the State Athletic Commission Prom people who hold the boxing
<br />Franchise in St Paul, the Attorney General's ruling was that they
<br />could operate Qnly in St Paul and that they would have to get a
<br />license Prom the State Boxing Commission and that the council
<br />would have to approve in order to permit boxing in the Pillage
<br />area.
<br />Fire Chief's Annual report oP Fire Chief George B. Swanson, for period May 1
<br />Annual Report to December 31, 1949, was noted and discussed. On motion by
<br />approved. Lindig, seconded by Shavor, it was voted to approve the report.
