Springsted, Justioe of the Peace, to file his <br />resignation. resignation with the Governor, and that the council could <br />properly take action on it. Reltstad moved that Springated's <br />resignation be socepted. Seconded by Lindig, motion carried <br />and resignation of Osmon R. Springsted from the office of <br />Justice of the Peace declared duly accepted. <br />Bua hearing Attorney Graham reported a committee will start work on a <br />proposed new bus schedule. He will let the council know <br />when the new schedule has been worked out. <br />Insu ranee policy, Stewart informed the council that Fi ro insurance policy on <br />1947 Fire truck. the 194? LaFrance fire truck expires ea of July 1, 1950, <br />and that the Insurance Company proposed reducing coverage <br />on fire and wind inasmuoh as the original cost of the <br />truck was $7,200.00 in 1947. Henry moved, sec ended by Rek- <br />stad, that the policy be renewed, sub3eot to what the <br />Insurance Company will allow on Fire and l~indstorm coanrrage. <br />' Motion oarried. <br />Wilson lots The Clerk reported that application he had filed for akbatement <br />exempted. of 1949 taxes (146.00) and exempting of the following <br />described property as of May 1, 1950, had been approved by <br />the County Auditor: <br />Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and all of Lot 6 except <br />the south 34 ft. thereof, in Block 9, and Lots 1 <br />and 12 in Block 10 in Northome 2nd addition, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota, subject to certain <br />restri coons and easements. <br />Cigarette license <br />applications <br />Off sale - <br />On salo <br />applioations. <br />The Clerk presented the following a~glioations to sell <br />oigarettes at retails <br />Farmers Union Grain Terminal Assn. <br />The National Tea Co. <br />Patrick C. Flaherty <br />Claire F. Hildman <br />W.C. Berntson <br />Jane M. Keller <br />Norbert Leo Hermes <br />Blomberg Pharmacy <br />Otto R. Walter <br />Henry moved that applications be approved. Seconded by <br />Lindig and carried. <br />The Clerk also presented the following beer license <br />applications: <br />The National Tea Co., <br />Claire F. Hildman, <br />W.C. Berntson, <br />Patrick C. Flaherty, <br />"Off sale" <br />" " <br />" " <br />"Off sale" and "On sale." <br />Henry moved, seconded by Shavor, that applications be <br />approved.
