L. Henry, Mayor <br />George J. Shavor, Trustee <br />Arthur A. Lindig, Trustee <br />Clarenoe Rekstad, Trustee <br />Clyde J. Stewart, Clerk <br />Frank N. Graham, Attorney <br />Absent: Ralph Van Hoven, Treasurer <br />Mayor Henry declared the hearing open at 8:30 P.M. There were <br />about 20 persons present. The Mayor stated this was a public hearing on the <br />petition of Falcon Development Corporation, Douglas Rees, Agnes Weber and <br />Nicholas G. iWeber, dated Rovember 30, 1951, for the establishment of a building <br />line within the block Prom Crawford Street to Larpenteur Avenue on the east <br />side of Snelling Avenue. It was ftiirther stated that a public hearing before <br />the Council is provided for by ordinance, also that notice of the hearing had <br />been published in The Rose Tribune and posted as required by law, and that the <br />hearing had been postponed because of the storm on January 22, 1952. The Mayor <br />then asked if anyone wished to speak Por or against the petition: <br />Keller - Carl Keller, of Keller Corporation, said Mr. Rees had asked him <br />to be his representative at the hearing. Mr. Keller submitted a drawing of the <br />proposed building and stated Mr. Rees would like permission for <br />any future building to conform with the Weber restaurant setback, <br />and felt that an 18 foot dog would not look right. Keller said <br />Rees' proposal provid es for 52 feet of additional parking space <br />on the south of the building, and hoped the Council would see fit <br />to permit bringing the building up to the Weber restaurant line. <br />R.J. stenberg, (sae next page) <br />
