<br />Minutes Minutes of regular meeting, September 11, 1952; of
<br />hearing of September 11, 1952, on petition of Howard
<br />Grant and Nick i~+eber; also of special meeting, September
<br />18, 1952, were heard and approved as read.
<br />Alley vacated Following discussion, Rekstad moved, seconded by Lindig,
<br />adoption of the following resolution:
<br />Resolution WHEREAS, a majority of the owners of property abutting on
<br />the platted alley between Lot 2 and Lots 3, 4 and 5, Kelley's
<br />Rearrangement of Block 10 of Falcon Heights Addition, have re-
<br />quested the VillageCouncil,in a petition dated August 16, 1952,
<br />to vacate the said alley according to law;
<br />AND WHEREAS, a public hearing was held. on Thursday, September
<br />11, 1952 before the Village Council in the Village Hall on
<br />such petition after due published eald posted notice had been
<br />given by the Clerk on August 28, 1952, and all persons
<br />interested were given the opportunity to be heard;
<br />AND i~HEREAS, it appears that it will be for the interest of
<br />the public to approve such petition;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the petition of Howard
<br />G. Grant and Nick G. Veber to vacate the platted alley between
<br />Lot 2 and Lots 3, 4 and 5, Kelley's Rearrangement of Block 10
<br />of Falcon Heights Addition, Ramsey Uounty, i~iinnesota, be and
<br />• it hereby is granted and that the alley above mentioned is
<br />hereby vacated as a public alley.
<br />Roll call vote was requested and recorded as follows:

<br />The Bdayor then declared said alley vacated by a unanimous
<br />vote of the council.
<br />Bills: On motion by Rekstad, seconded by Lindig, the following bills
<br />were ordered paid:

<br />Assessed The clerk reported on latest assessed valuation f igures for
<br />valuations Falcon Heights, including peusonal and real property. He
<br />also reported that Village Assessor Torgerson advised him
<br />that the real estate books were ready for the council's
<br />inspection. The clerk was asked to have`Porgerson bring
<br />in the books at a meeti,n g ordered for Monday, September 29,
<br />1952, commencing at 7:00 P.M.
