i{~ <br />R,# R.~ <br />Village Assessor On motion by Henry, seconded by Shavor, it was voted to <br />reoommend William Torgeraon as Village Assessor for 1953. <br />Street Commissioner Henry moved appointment of G.S. (Stan)Seaborn as Street <br />Commissioner for 1953, and that an assistant Street <br />Commissioner be appointed after asking Seaborn for his <br />recommendations. Seconded by Shavor and motion carried. <br />Building Inspector On motion by Henry, seconded by Lindig, it was voted to <br />appoint Dwight N. Reichow as Pillage Building Inspectorfor iyS 3, <br />Fire Department Henry moved appointment of the following Fire Department <br />committee committee for 1953: <br />Andrew Hustrulid, Chairman <br />Gordon Nelson, <br />Clyde Stewart <br />Seconded by Lindig, motion carried and said appointees <br />declared duly appointed to office. <br />Public Safety Committee On motion by Lindig, seconded by Shavor, it was voted <br />to appoint Don Arndt as Chairman, Public Safety Committee. <br />Planning Commission In connection with vacancy occurring on the Planning <br />Commission ea of December 31, 1952, Stewart moved that <br />Lorris Williams bs appointed as a member of the Planning _ <br />Commission for a term of three years, commencing January 1, <br />1953. Henry seconded, motion carried and Williams <br />declared duly appointed to office. <br />Legislative committee On motion by Lindig, seconded by Henry, and carried <br />unanimously, the following were duly appointed legislative <br />committee members for 1953: <br />Lynn Matteson <br />H.L. Henry <br />George J. Shavor <br />George. I. Lodahl <br />William Torgeraon <br />George Nelson <br />Salaries: Henry moved that the salaries for the Mayor and Trustees <br />for the year 1953 be set in amounts as follows: <br />Mayor, X50.00 monthly <br />Trustees, each, X35.00 monthly <br />Shavor seconded and motion parried. <br />Lindig moved, seconded by Shavor, that the salary of the <br />Treasurer for the year 1953 be set at X40.00 per month. <br />Motion carried. <br />After discussion, Henry moved that the Clerk's salary <br />for the year 1953 be inoreased to X125.00 per month. <br />Seconded by Lindig and so ordered. <br />
