Fire Department The Mayor announced that the regular order of business report and proposed would be dispensed with at this point in order to give ordinance revision Councilman Shavor an opportunity to present a report on the Fire Department and a proposed ordinance revision. Presentation In this connection, Shavor read an introductory article which he had. prepared for publication in The Rose Tribune, but said time did not permit, getting it in the paper. He then read a report on the Fire Department: based on a study started about a year ago, covering operations and activities of the department. for 1950-51-5?_ R• 53. He also read a proposed ordinance revision, and then moved that. said report, ordinance revision and other information,(copies of which were furnished to each member of the council) Referred to be referred to the Fire Department committee for study and Fire Dept. recommendation.
