~r~~ <br /> The Southerly 217 feet of the East 250 feet <br />Rezoning of the North 500 feet of the Northwest 1/~ <br />petition - of the Northeast 1/1~ of the Northeast 1/It <br />Farmers Union of Section 21, Township 29, Range 23, Vest <br />Grain Terminal of the Fourth Principal Meridian, according to <br />Assn. the United States Government survey thereof <br /> and the plats on file in the office of the <br /> P~egister of Deeds, Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br /> The attorney's letter also stated that he had checked the <br /> signatures obtained against the Abstrac±, Clerk's report, <br /> and believes that the petitions have been properly signed <br /> by more th an fifty per cent by number of the property owners <br /> within 500 feet of the property sought to be rezoned. <br />After discussion, Stenzinger moved that a public hearing <br />upon said petitions be held on June 8, 195, at. the Village <br />Hall, commencing at 7:30 P.M-, and that the Village Clerk <br />be instructed to post notices in the Village's three posting <br />places and to inform the Farmers Union Grain Terminal <br />Association. as to the date of the public hearing. Cartwrigh t <br />seconded. and motion carried unanimously. <br />Landscaping The matter of grading and landscaping the Village Hall grounds <br />Village Hall to conform with similar improvements to be made by the Farmers <br />grounds Union Grain Terminal Association on its ad3oining property, was <br />discussed. Stenzinger moved appointment of Trustee Shavor <br />to work with Mr. Gallaher of the Farmers Union Grain Terminal <br />Association in this connection. Seconded by Stewart and <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />t.2.G.I. License On motion by Huc~trulid, seconded by Cartwright, it was voted <br />No. 21 to approve issuance of Master Gas Installer's License No. 21 <br />to John D. Nassinaer, of Hassinger-Stroud Heating, 1569 <br />Selby Avenue, St Paul, as of May 15, 1951, for period May <br />15 thru June 30, 195>a. <br />Gas Inspection, In connection with his r event inspection of the gas installation <br />Falcon Dry at the Falcon Dry Cleaners, Mr. Larson, Village Gas Inspector, <br />Cleaners reported that the previous stack temperature of 960 degrees with <br />oil had been reduced with gas installed to 6l~0 degrees. ~'Phile <br />the fire hazard has thus been reduced considerably, Larson pointed <br />out that in the City of St Paul where the space above the boiler <br />is as limited as this that wire lath and plaster are required. <br />After discussion, it was agreed that the Fire Chief should ask <br />the Falcon. Dry Cleaners to comply with Sec. 1t-28 of the Building <br />Code ordinance. <br />Zenon After discussion, Cartwright moved that the action of the council <br />M.G.I. at its b".ay 12, 195Lt meeting, approving conditionally the request <br />license of ?fir. Ralph E. Zener, 203J~ Asbury, for a Master Gas Installer's <br />license, be rescinded upon recommendation of our gas inspector, <br />with the understanding that if Mr. Zenon takes and passes the <br />St Paul examination that the council will reconsider his <br />application, also that the council authorizeSrefund of X30.00 <br />covering Master Gas Installer's license fee, which Mr. Zenon <br />paid at the time of filing his application. Seconded by <br />Hustrulid and carried by a unanimous vote. <br /> <br />
