Legislative Mayor Stenzinger reported that at a recent meeting of our committee Legislative committee matters were considered pertaining to (1) securing of Railway express service for residents of the Village (2) possibility of getting a sewerage connection thru Lauderdale (3) checking into natural gas rates in the Twin City suburbs and in outlying areas (!~) forming a metropolitan planning commission. In connection with the latter, Trustee Shavor reported that the League of Minnesota Municipalities is sponsoring a metropolitan planning commission and agreed to discuss this with our Legislative corn~nittee Chairman. Public Safety The Mayor also reported that the Public Safety committee have Village policing in operation.
