Supply Corp., b lite bulbs, 3-22, 1~7¢ <br />Zenor Heat Co., Refund MGI license fee, $30.00 <br />Lighting of Trustee Hustrulid reported that Mr. Bishop, of .the Falcon <br />business area Heights Businessmen's Association, indicated that the <br />report on the proposed lighting of the Snelling Avea ue- <br />Larpenteur business area would not be ready for presenting <br />to the council until the next regular meeting of the council. <br />Legislative Mayor Stenzinger reported that at a recent meeting of our <br />committee Legislative committee matters were considered pertaining <br />to (1) securing of Railway express service for residents <br />of the Village (2) possibility of getting a sewerage <br />connection thru Lauderdale (3) checking into natural gas <br />rates in the Twin City suburbs and in outlying areas <br />(!~) forming a metropolitan planning commission. In <br />connection with the latter, Trustee Shavor reported that <br />the League of Minnesota Municipalities is sponsoring a <br />metropolitan planning commission and agreed to discuss <br />this with our Legislative corn~nittee Chairman. <br />Public Safety The Mayor also reported that the Public Safety committee <br />have Village policing in operation. He also indicated as to <br />Pedestrian cross- what the committee suggests that our attorney prepare in <br />walk ordinance the way of a proposed ordinance for regulating the pedestrian <br />proposed. cross-walk. <br />Ordinance No. 28 A proposed firearms ordinance was read and discussed. <br />Stenzinger then moved adoption of Ordinance No. 28, AN <br />ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SHOOTING OR DISCHARGING OF <br />GUNS, AIR GUNS, PISTOLS, REVOLVERS, OR O'"HER FIREARMS <br />~'lITHIN THE VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS, ~D PROVIDING A <br />PLfi1ALTY THEREFOR. Seconded by Hustrulid and the following <br />vote taken and recorded: <br />Ayes: Stenzinger, Shavor, Hustrulid, Cartwright, Stewart <br />Nays: None <br />Ordinance No. 28 was then declared duly adopted by a unanimous <br />vote and publication of same was ordered. <br />
