iii <br />Civil Stenzinger presented a proposed civil. defense plan for <br />Defense the Village and moved its adoption. Cartwright seconded <br />and motion carried unanimously. The Mayor also asked to <br />have printed the necessary oath forms for Civil Defense <br />members and identification cards, and that ~1C~0 be included <br />in the 195 budget for such pnuposes. Stenzinger then moved <br />that any Civil Defense bills be paid out of the general fund <br />when approved by the council. Hustrulid seconded and motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Ramsey County The clerk was asked to refer to our Village Health Officer <br />Nursing Service the recently received Annual Report of the Ramsey County <br />report. Nursing Service for the period January 1, 1953-Dec. 31, 1953 <br />Pa#,nt cross walk The clerk reported that Mr. ~I(infrey, of the Falcon Heights <br />Arona-Larpenteur Businessmen's Association, had requested that crosswalk be <br />painted at Arona and Larpenteur as a means of reducing jay <br />walking. Stenzinger moved that the matter be referred to <br />our street commissioner for handling. Seconded ~ by <br />Cartwright and so ordered. <br />Street profile The clerk also reported that our legislative committee <br />map and sanitary had requested a blue print copy of a street Arofile map <br />sewer proposal at the County Engineer's office, to be used at a meeting <br />which the committee will hold with a sanitary engineer <br />regarding a proposed sanitary sewer system for the Village. <br />Cartwright moved approval of the legislative committee's <br />request, Stenzinger seconded and motion carried unanimously. <br />Election Judges. On motion by Hustrulid, seconded by Cartwright, it was <br />and Counting voted to approve appointment of the following Election judges <br />Board and Counting Boards to serve at the General Election, Tuesday, <br />November 2, 1954: <br />Election judges, Precinct #1 <br />Janet g. Otis <br />Ann Hustrulid <br />Vera Thorne <br />Counting Board judges, Precinct #1 <br />Arthur Lindig <br />Curtis L. Larson <br />L. L. Harkness <br />Election judges, Precinct #2 <br />E. B. Rowley <br />Rhodie E. Arndt <br />Ethel VGhite <br />Counting Board judges, Precinct #2 <br />L. E. Hanson <br />G. S. Seaborn <br />Wesley Nelson <br />
