Seconded by Shavor <br />and motion carried unanimously. <br />Sanitary The Mayor reported that the Banister Engineering Company, who <br />Sewer are sanitary sewer engineers for several nearby suburbs, are <br />_ interested in our sanitary sewer probland would like to <br />discuss the matter with the council. <br />Street Nick Christensen reported on work that had. been done in checking <br />numbers on street numbers and calling on residents where street number <br />changes appeared necessary. Some complaints from residents on <br />Tatum street, whoa objected to such changes were discussed. <br />x3oc~xa xx <br />a~axadz <br />Lyons Metal The Clerk reported that after writing the Lyons Metal Products <br />Products Co. @ompany a second time, that a Company representative had <br />chairs inspected the rusted chairs at the Villa ge Hall and had agreed <br />to repaint or replace them with new chairs. <br />School buses. Letter of October 1, 1954, from Superintendent of Schools, <br />withou t tandem Emmet D. 'Williams, was read, requesting permission to operate. <br />rear axles on school buses without tandem rear axles over designated Village <br />certain Village streets. Attorney Graham's letter of October ~0, 195, quoting <br />streets the law on this subject, also was read. After discussion and <br />on motion by Cartwright, seconded by Stenzinger, the following <br />resolution was adopted by a unanimous vote: <br />Resolution "RESOLVED, that the Village council hereby approves the <br />request of Independent School District No. 3 to operate the <br />following buses without tandem rear axles over the following <br />streets: <br />"One 5k passenger bus - number 30 <br />Elementary Rou to 27 overHolton between Roselawn and <br />Garden. <br />"One 60 passen~?er bus - number 45 <br />ementary Route over Iowa between Hamline and Albert <br />and over Albert between Iowa and Garden, <br />'One 60 passenger bus - dumber 10 <br />Elementary Route over Hoyt between Snelling and Arona, <br />over Arona between Hoyt and Iotiaa, over Iowa between Arona <br />and Pascal, and over Pascal between Iowa and Garden. <br />"One 60 passenger bus - number 35 <br />Elementary Route 30 over Hoyt between Cleveland and <br />Eustis and over East University Drive between Hoyt and <br />Larpenteur. <br />"One 66 passenger bus - number ~0 <br />High School Route 17 over Arona between Hoyt and Idaho, <br />over Idaho between Arona and Albert, and over Albert between <br />Idaho and Larpenteur. <br /> <br />
