<br />After discussion of the latter question, Stewart moved that
<br />Trustee Cartwright be appointed to contact the proper authorities
<br />at the University to see what the University might, on a voluntary
<br />basis, agree to pay the Village for such services. Seconded by
<br />Stenzinger anct motion carried unanimously. .

<br />Rezoning rezone the northwest corner of Larpenteur and Hamline from
<br />petition Residence district "A" to Business district. After discussion,
<br />Stewart moved that the petition be referred to our attorney
<br />for checking for sufficiency, .Seconded by Cartwright and

<br />Island Lake, Letter of October 23, 1954, from Claude Allen as to a meeting
<br />Ramsey County of the municipal officials of Ramsey County, October 22, at
<br />which the proposed State Trunk highway thru Island Lake, was
<br />discussed, resulting in a unanimous vote to ask each municipality
<br />to pass a resolution directed. to the Commissioner of Highways
<br />and the. County Board, protesting building of said road, with
<br />request on the County Board to take legal action to prevent
<br />same if possible. j After discussion and on motion by Cartwright,
