Cartxright moved that the <br />Clerk be authorized to xrite to the Board of County Commissioners <br />accordingly. Seconded by Stewart and carried unanimously. <br />Klatt's better from Village Engineer Milner W. Carley, dated November 23, 1955, <br />Addition- relating to final acceptance of Ruggles and Albert streets, Klatt'a <br />acceptance addition, and question of drainage of Ruggles Avenue at Hemline, <br />of streets xas read. In vier of the Village engineer's recommendation that <br />said streets be accepted for maintenance by the Village and that <br />our village engineer be instructed to observe this intersection in <br />the Spring of 1956, and to cooperate xith the County at that time <br />in having it drained to the best of their ability, Cartwright moved <br />that the Village Engineer's recommendation be approved and the streets <br />be accepted for maintenance by the Village. Seconded by Shavor and <br />motion carried unanimously. (Engineer Don Carley being present during <br />the discussion). <br />Mileage of In connection xith-the County Engineer certifying to the County <br />Village-mein- Auditor by March 15 of next year the actual number of miles of <br />tained streets roads xithin the Village as a basis for allocation to Falcon Heights <br />from the County road and bridge fund, and the County. Engineer's <br />request of October 28, 1955, that xe check the street list and <br />mileage and notify them of any additionior deletions: Engineer <br />Don Carley reported the streets and mileage had been checked, <br />He furnished the Clerk xith a copy of a list of Village maintained <br />streets, showing a total street mileage of 8.20 miles, including <br />streets in the new Maple Knoll and Klatt's additions. Engineer <br />Carley stated he xould check xith the County Engineer the following <br />reek and furnish the County Engineer's office with a corrected list <br />of the Village's total street mileage at that time. <br />Street On the matter of the proposed street program for Falcon Heights; <br />program Engineer Don Carley said he had discussed this xith his father, <br />Milner W. Carley, and that their plans are to go ahead xith the <br />street program starting in January. <br />"Falcon Woods" Letter of November 19,1955, from the Falcon Heights Planning <br />.subdivision Commission xas read, relating to the plat of "Falcon Woods" <br />and action of the Planning Commission as follows: (1) Approved <br />the preliminary plat of Falcon Woods subdivision prepared by <br />Donald 0. Carley, dated September, 1955, and modified by Gage <br />Construction Company's sketch proposal. (2) Final approval rill <br />be given after the final plat is submitted, as covered in the rules <br />and regulations for platting in the Village of Falcon Heights. <br />After discussion (Mr. Gage of the Gage Construction Company being present), <br />Shavor moved acceptance of our Planning Commission's recommendations <br />and that the Council approve the preliminary plat of Falcon Woods <br />subdivisAon in accordance xith the Company's sketch pro~gsal No. 3. <br />Seconded by Stenzinger and carried unanimously. <br />Gage request Prior to final approval of the plat, Mr. Gage asked if it xould be <br />to build tyro possible for his Company to build a couple of houses on Roselanm <br />houses avenue in order to keep his present construction force xorking. <br />Attorney Graham advised that he could build the houses, but that <br />they could not be sold until final approval of the plat. <br />
