s~~ <br />Horazdovsky building Earl Horazdovsky, 1463 w. Idaho, owner of the property occupied <br />permit request by the Texaco filling station at Hamline and Hot asked for <br />~ <br /> permission to build an addition, 17x44, at the ' <br />~;~` of the <br /> filling station. Mr. Horazdovsky said the addition was desired- <br />- for establishing a lawn mower sharpening and repair business. <br /> His father, Mr. Edward Horazdovsky, building contractor, sub- <br /> mitted p]a ns for the proposed addition. Attorney Graham <br /> pointed out that our ordinance requires a 20 ft. rear yard <br /> which the plans did not provide for. It was also stated that <br /> if Mr. Horazdovsky makes request for variance from the ordinance <br /> that the matter would be referred to our Planning~Commission <br /> who would arrange for a public hearing thereon. <br />Custodian receipts On motion by Stewart, seconded. by Cartwright, the following <br />for securities held resolution was adopted by a unanimous vote following a full <br />1st Natl Bank to discussion: <br />secure Village funds. <br />RESOLVED, That the Village {Measurer be and hereby is authorized <br />to deliver to the Falcon Heights State .Bank the custodian <br />receipt for the X20,000.00 Treasury Note, Series B-1955, 1-3/~t~~ <br />due December 15, 1955, given by 'the First National Bank of Saint <br />Paul, and that the Village Treasurer deliver to the Village <br />Clerk for deposit in the Village safety deposit box the <br />custodian receipt for X20,000.00 U.S. Treasury Notes, Series A <br />- 1958, dated December 1, 1955, due June 15, 1958, 2-7~8~, dated <br />December 21, 1955, given by L'he First National Bank of Saint Paul. <br />Village safety deposit The following resolution was adopted~by a unan imous vote on _ <br />box - access to and motion by Cartwright, seconded by Shavor: <br />control of contents <br />BE IT RESOLVED, That the leasing of a safe or safes now or <br />hereafter in the Safe Deposit Vaults of the Falcon Heights <br />State Bank, Falcon Heights, Minnesota, in the name of this <br />Village by the Clerk of the Village of Falcon Heights of this <br />corporation or any one of them be and hereby is authorized <br />and conf firmed. <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that authority to have access to, <br />and full control of the contents of said safe or safes, to <br />remove any part or all of the contents, to exchange or surrender <br />such safes, to have the same rights and .full control of the <br />contents of safe or safes held in such exchange be, and it is <br />hereby given to the following: <br />Clyde J. Stewar t, Clerk <br />In accord with the council's resolution of January 11, 1956, <br />Falcon Woods the Clerk reported he had executed for the Village the final <br />addition -final plat of Falcon Woods addition, the Gage Construction Company <br />plat signed. having met the performance bond and cash deposit requirements. <br />The Clerk asked in what fund the cash deposit should be placed, <br />Cash deposit to this amounting to X350.00 to be held by the Village for <br />S& B fund. completing about 115 feet of Prior Avenue when the area to the <br />south of Falcon Yfoods is opened up. Cartwright moved that <br />said cash deposit be placed in the Street and Bridge fund. <br />Seconded by Utecht and motion carried unanimously. <br />J <br />
