Treas. reports on Treasurer Olsen reported that the Falcon Heights State ~5,21~5.50 deposit Bank had not credited the Village account for an August 23 deposit of $5,215.50, and that he had called this to the bank's attention and that the bank acknowledged receipt of the money and promised to credit the Village account in September. Cities Service Oil Building Inspector Christensen reported that the Cities Co. sign Service Oil Company proposed to put ~ip a sign, 11 ft. high by 8 ft. wide, on its filling station area at Larpenteur and Snelling avenues. Andersen, requesting a meeting at which President re condemnation Morrill, Mr. Middlebrook, a committee from the Board of proceedings Regents, Senator Andersen and members of the Village council could discuss the matter of the proposed condemnation of certain property in the Village of Falcon Heights by the University of Minnesota. Seconded by Nilsen and motion carried unanimously. Ramsey County Letter of August 28, 1956, from Sheriff Gibbons, asking radio system - how many units our Village would hook into the proposed 1 hookup for Ramsey County radio system if an agreement on cost is Village reached. Utecht moved that the Sheriff be informed that our Village is interested in one hookup. Seconded by Nilsen and motion carried unanimously. Tree Trimming Mr. John Schultz, 217 N. Snelling, St Paul, reported that at the request of the council he had examined the trees in the Northome area of the Village and that in his opinion the cost to trim the boulevard. trees would vary from X2.00 to X12.00 per tree, with possibly some trees that need no
