<br />set for motion by Utecht, seconded by Shavor, it was voted unanimously
<br />November 7. to hold a special meeting on tiVednesday, November 7, 1956, atthe
<br />Village Hall, beginning at 7:30 P.M.
<br />Rey Merkel Letter from the Claim Department of the ,Mutual Service Casualty
<br />injury - Insurance Company, relative to Claim No. Vd-12160 covering injury
<br />Ins. Co. re to Fireman Ray Merkel, was read, The Clerk was asked to inform
<br />claim the Fire Chief as to the contents of the Insurance Company's
<br />letter.
<br />Remodeling Bill for ~C607.00 from the Dean Lundholm Construction Company, of
<br />Village Hall- St Paul, covering balance due for remodeling of the Village Hall,
<br />bal. due was considered. On motion by Utecht, seconded by Stewart, it was
<br />Constr. Co. voted unanimously to pay said bill, subject to approval of Trustee.
<br />Nilsen and Building Inspector Christensen.

<br />Tree Nilsen reported that Mr. Schultz, St Paul tree trimmer, estimated
<br />Trimming the total cost of the proposed boulevard tree trimming at ~It,000,
<br />with an average per tree cost of 96l~.75» Total number of boulevard
<br />trees in the Village was estimated at ~lt0, with lt07 of .these in
<br />the Northome area.
<br />Sanitary rMr. .Arndt J. Duvall, of our sanitary sewer engineers, appeared before
<br />Sewer the council to report that the survey should be completed this week
<br />except for checking house basements. Mr. Duvall indicated that any
<br />information needed for the proposed public hearing would. be available
<br />by December 1, 1956.
<br />Briggs,Gilbert, Af ter considerable discussion, Cartwright moved that the firm of
<br />Ptlorton,Kyle & Briggs, Gilbert, Morton, Kyle and iJiacartney, of St Paul, be emplgyed
<br />Macartney em- to handle our sanitary sewer bond issue and that they be asked to
<br />ployed to handle submit their proposal to the Village in writing. Seconded by Utecht
<br />Sewer bond. issue. and motion carried unanimously.
