He said the State Highway Department would <br /> permit no light above crosswalks pedestrian). Police <br /> activities were discussed and especially the conduct of <br /> Officer Dachtera. The matter of securing an additional <br /> officer for evening patroling was discussed with Arndt. <br />Resolutions of Utecht moved that three resolutions of thanks for services <br />thanks for - rendered as <br />prepared by the Cle rk, be approved as of <br />Cartwright January 9, 1957, for the following former Village officers: <br />Van Hoven <br />Hustrulid David P. Cartwright, Trustee; Andrew Hustrulid, Trustee; <br /> and Ralph V~ Hoven, Village Treasurer. <br /> Seconded by Shavor and motion carried unanimously. <br />Village directory The matter of preparing a directory of Village officers <br />for 19$7 was discussed. Shavor moved that ~'i~stee Nilsen <br />be asked to prepare said directory as he did last year. <br />Seconded by Utecht and motion carried unanimously. <br />Street lights On motion by Nilsen, seconded by Shavor, it was voted <br />ordered unanimously to request the Power Company to install a <br />street light at Prior Avenue and Autumn Street, that is <br />on Prior Avenue immediately south of Autumn; also to <br />install a street light at Ruggles and Snelling Avenues <br />on the east side of Snelling Drive. <br />County asked Nilsen moved that the Clerk write to County Commissioner <br />for street lights Lucille Blank, requesting that the County install street <br />lights at Roselawn and Prior Avenues and at Autumn Street <br />and Roselawn Avenue, to provide the ligh ting needed at the <br />entrance to the Falcon Woods Addition. Seconded by Shavor <br />and motion carried unanimously. <br />Fire Department Fire Chief Grumke's report of January 7, 1957, on activities <br />activities report of the Falcon Heights Fire Department was read. <br />
