<br />hard suction of two additional items listed on Fire Department requisition No.
<br />hose - portable 106; namely, two 10 ft. sections of hard suction hose and one
<br />pump Gorman portable pump(for tank truck) be authorized. Seconded
<br />by Warkentien and motion carried unanimously.
<br />Ramsey County Letter of March 1, 1957, from Mr. Burton C. Spear, Director,
<br />machine account- Machine Accounting Department, Ramsey County, was read relative
<br />ing department to governmental units certifying to said machine accounting
<br />matter department any changes in zoning classifications, street names,
<br />etc. Agreed that the letter should be brought up for council
<br />action on or about July 1, 1957.
<br />2~ prem. tax. Letter was read from the League of Minnesota Municipalities,
<br />Fire Under- under date of March 5, 1957, relative to the check being made
<br />writers check by the Fire Underwriters Inspection Bureau of all fire insurance
<br />fire insurance policies written in the State to make sure that the policies
<br />policies bear the correct fire town number for firetown purposes.
<br />Trustee Warkentien will check with Warren Johnson, an insurance
<br />company representative in the Village, to see how the 2~ premium
<br />tax is reported and if the Fire Underwriters Inspection Bureau's
<br />stamp appears on fire insurance policies written by the firm
<br />Mr. Johnson represents.
<br />Standard Letter was read from Mr. Allan C. Fritsche, of Allans Standard
<br />Service Sta. Service, 1691 N. Snelling, dated February 25, 1957, asking for
<br />to operate an extension of the hours of operation of said filling station
<br />2It hrs. from the present 6x.30 A.Idt. to midnite to 2!t hours. After discussion,
<br />Warkentien moved-that Mr. Fritsche be authorized temporarily to
<br />operate Allan's Standard Service 2!t hours a day until further
<br />dit~eti3ns„f~bffi the:_cohncil. Seconded by Shavor and motion carried
<br />unanimously.
<br />J.P. Bond, The Clerk presented copy of the Fidelity and Casualty Company of
<br />(Lloyd Riley) New York, Public Official's bond, filed by Justice of the Peace
<br />Lloyd V. Riley. Our attorney found the bond to be in proper
<br />'form except for a signature acknowledgment which he will ask
<br />the Agency to take care of.
<br />Suggested Printed matter referred to in Attorney Graham's letter of
<br />ordinances re March 1 and issued by the League of Minnesota Municipalities,
<br />Tree regulations containing suggested and actual ordinances relating to
<br />regulation and control of trees within municipal street limits,
<br />was turned over to Trustee Nilsen for study ar:d report.
