The Village Attorney reported he <br />had talked with the State Treasurer after the Treasurer's <br />letter was written, suggesting that if the Board could <br />purchase X100,000 to $200,000 of our bonds that this would <br />not only help on the interest rate, but would permit the <br />Village to b~ back some of the bonds, effecting a further. <br />saving. The Mayor reported <br />on receiving a call from Kenneth Schurhamer, of St Paul, <br />who is i'h the sanitary sewer service business, and that he <br />met with Mr. Schurhamer, Mr. Bonestroo and 13 homeowners <br />in the Falcon Woods area who had proceeded with laying of <br />sewer pipes from their houses to the street to a point five <br />feet short of t:~e stub in the street. <br />Mr. Bonestroo said he wanted his house connection in, so called Mr. <br />Schurhamer for an estimate for running the house service <br />in. Also said he called Building Inspector Christensen <br />and asked him if he knew what the requirements were and <br />was informed the pipe could bd laid five feet from the <br />property line. Said others also called but in every instance <br />are five feet short of the stub in the street, and that there <br />is a total of 65 feet of sewer involved, which he suggested <br />be made a pant of the sewer contract. <br />
