APR 19 '9Q 15:37 FROM AMERICAN-ENGR-TEST

DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
AMERICAN ENGiNEE~ING TESTING, INC.
FOR
OGSERYATIOK AND TESTING DF EARTHWORK
PAGE.~~3
I, die Observe and test earthwork, and may advise or make recommendations,
but we are not responsible for earthwork operations ar products.
2. Normally, earthwork is done to support,a particular structure {type,
size, and shape} at a specific location and elevation. if plans are
changed (structure type, size, shape, location, elevation, etc.} the
earthwork may no longer be suitable.
3. Normally, the location {and elevation) of a proposed structure is
• staked (with offsets) by others. Our measurements are made in rela-
tian to those stakes, and the reliability of any opinions, conclu-
sions, and recommendations based on those measurements is strictly
dependent on the accuracy of the staking done by others.
4. Part-time observations and testing do not permit evaluating the entire
scope of earthwork. 1~e cannot, with certainty, verify earthwork which
we did not actually observ+a.
5. Density test results represents values at localized points, and may
not represent conditions elsewhere.
~. If deep test borings have not been drilled, this limits our ability to
evaluate the deeper soil and ground water conditions. and our work and
our report is qualified t.o that extent.
7. To protect the addressee(s), the public, and ourselves, our reports
(and all supporting information) ate provided for the addressee{s}'
• own use. No representations are made to parties other than the
addressees}, (and parties to whom verbal reports were given).
