This report
assesses whether or not a project and its scope can be accomplished in acost-effective and timely
manner.
The half-mile section of Roselawn, between Snelling and Hamline Avenues, is a rural section
roadway. It is unimproved, and does not have any storm sewer, curb and gutter, or other water
control measures. Additionally, the pavement in this stretch of roadway is in very poor
condition. Staff has conducted two community meetings on this project, and has developed
some preliminary plans. Once the feasibility report is accepted by both Roseville and Falcon
Heights City Councils, staff will present the plans and specifications for review and comment.
These plans will be developed with feedback from residents who participate in meetings, or who
contact city staff via a-mail or phone with feedback. In addition, city staff will conduct awalk-
through of the project on Saturday, October 22"d, at 10:00 a.m.
The City of Roseville will conduct this feasibility report, and then make a report back to the
Falcon Heights City Council at an upcoming meeting.
ATTACHMENT:
Resolution 2005-11
ACTION REQUESTED:
• Discussion
• Order preparation of feasibility reports for Roselawn Street reconstruction project
r1
LJ
