January 31, 1990
•
ADDENDUM TO TBE PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA FOR FEBRUARY 5, 1990
Item E-1 : A public hearing on a Request for a Conditional
Use Permit for an Off-Sale Liquor Store at 1557 West
Larpenteur Avenue in a B2 Zone.
1) Correction to Background Section - Replace second sentence with
the following sentence:
Mr. Dennis Hunt withdrew his application for a conditional use
permit because he had not paid his property taxes on the property,
and, therefore, was not eligible for a municipal liquor _license.
2) Addition to Recommendations:
Checklist of general and special requirements for granting a
conditional use permit for a liquor store in a B-2 zone - 9-15.04
Subdivisions 3(a) (page 111-112) (See Attachment C)
My review of the list: Because the proposed conditional use
is already in an established shopping center, a number of the
criteria are already met or not applicable. The proposed use
• should not be a major traffic generator nor create a parking
problem.
When an applicant meets all of the conditions of the Zoning Code
for a Conditional Use Permit, the application must be granted.
Item F-1: Report on the plans for the Park Building for the Community
Park - Carol Kriegler, Park and Recreation Director
•
