Subdivision 19. Tennis Courts. <br />a. In all districts, the following standards shall apply: <br />1. A conditional use permit shall be required for all public, semi-public <br />and commercial tennis courts. <br />2. An application for a conditional use permit shall include a site plan <br />showing: <br />The size, shape and pavement and sub-pavement materials, the location of <br />the court, the location of the house, garage, fencing, septic systems and <br />any other structural improvements on the lot, the locations of structures on <br />all adjacent lots, a grading plan showing all revised drainage patterns and <br />finished elevations at the four corners of the court, landscaping and turf <br />protection around the court, location of existing and proposed wiring and <br />lighting facilities. <br />3. Tennis courts shall not be located closer than ten (10) feet on any side <br />or rear lot line. Tennis courts shall not be located within any required front <br />yard. <br />4. Tennis courts shall not be located over underground utility lines of any <br />type, nor shall any court be located within any private or public utility, <br />walkway, drainage or other easement. <br />5. Solid tennis court practice walls shall not exceed ten (10) feet in height. <br />A building permit shall be required for said walls. Said walls shall be <br />setback a minimum of thirty (30) feet from any lot line. <br />6. Chain link fencing surrounding the tennis court may extend up to ten <br />(10) feet in height above the tennis court surface elevation. <br />Subdivision 20. Vegetation Cutting. <br />a. For purposes of this Chapter, the following definitions are made. <br />1. "Clear cutting" shall be defined as removal of all live vegetation in <br />excess of six (6) inches in diameter at four (4) feet of height on any area of <br />twenty thousand (20,000) square feet or more in size. <br />2. "Selective cutting" shall be defined as the removal of single scattered <br />live trees or shrubs in excess of six (6) inches in diameter at four (4) feet <br />• 14 <br />
