CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS PLANNING COMMISSION Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting/public hearing of-the Falcon Heights Planning Commission was held on the 1st day of March, 1982. The following members were present: Stefanson, Olson, Wallin,. Nilsen, Blomberg, Labalestra, Waldo and Mead, and the following were absent: Bourquin. Commission Member Olson introduced:the following resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION 82-3 A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVE THE REZONING OF THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE HAWKINS/HERMES PROPERTY AND AS MORE SPECIFIC- ALLY DESIGNATED BY THE INCLUDED LEGAL DESCRIPTION TO A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT AS APPLIED FOR BY AMERICAN SHELTER CORPORATION ON DECEMBER 17, 1981 WHEREAS, the American Shelter Corporation under authority granted by the owners of the following described premises (the "Premises") has made appli- cation for approval of a preliminary development plan for a planned unit de- velopment to~be located and constructed on the Premises, all in accordance with Ordinance No. 64, as amended by Ordinance ~~138, known as the Zoning Ordinance of-the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, to wit: • That part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 16, Township 29, Ranye 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Southwest Quarter; thence on a bearing of East along the south line of said Southwest Quarter a distance of 722.22 feet to the beginning of land to be described; thence North 0 degrees 17 minutes 37 seconds East 1,940.52 feet_to a point on the south line of the north 693.00 feet of said Southwest Quarter; thence South 89 degrees 59 minutes 42 seconds east along said south line 919.46 feet to the east line of the West one fourth of the East One Half of said Southwest Quarter; thence South 0 degrees 18 minutes 06 seconds West, along said East line, 1,175.43 feet to a point on the north line of the south 765.00 feet of said Southwest Quarter; thence on a bearing of West along said north line 514.56 feet; thence South 0 degrees 17 minutes 48 seconds West 765.01 feet-ts~the south line of said Southwest Quarter; thence on a bearing of West along said south line 60.00 feet; thence North 0 degrees 17 minutes 48 seconds East 268.00 feet; thence on a bearing of West 123.00 feet; thence South 0 degrees 11 minutes 48 seconds West 268.00 feet to the south line of said Southwest Quarter; thence on a bearing of West along said south line 221.70 feet to the point of beginning. • Subject to Larpenteur Avenue over the south 50.00 feet thereof. and,
