Sunday thru Thursday, and <br />12:00 P.M. Friday and Saturday, (3) adequate lighting be <br />provided within the establishment and outside in the parking <br />lot, (4) there be a security guard or management must patrol <br />rear and front parking 1_ots, and (5) a limitation on the <br />number of people a]_lowed in the establishment at one time <br />be provided for. <br />There being no others wishing to be heard, Chairman Black <br />closed the public hearing at 8:35 P.M. <br />Hours of operation were discussed to which Sacco advised <br />that he is requesting that the business be allowed to be <br />open from 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. with the curfew enforced <br />for those under age. A security guard (bouncer type) wily. <br />be hired if so needed. Also, there will be one member of <br />the family on the. premises at all times and two members <br />wi]_1 be present at those high volume times when needed. <br />After further discussion, Barry moved, seconded by Duncan, <br />to declare a moritorium on the operations of any new game <br />room within the City and inquire the legal avenues as to <br />• whether or not the conditional use was properly included <br />in the city ordinance and re-consider amending such ordinance. <br />Upon a voice vote being taken, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Nestingen, Duncan, Finegan, Barry and Daykin, <br />and the following voted against the same: Carroll, Black, <br />Grittner and Boche. Motion carried. <br />A recess was taken at 9:00 P.M. <br />Black reconvened the meeting at 9:10 P.M. <br />Dennis Hunt, Bullseye Plaza, advised he is requesting a <br />parking variance for a deli-take out/sportsman bar to be <br />located in the Bullseye Plaza Shopping Center (west side). <br />The proposal will seat 70 customers if filled to capacity. <br />Mr. Hunt then reviewed the present parking situation and <br />his proposal to add more parking spaces on the o].d liquor <br />store lot and fencing in the lot area. <br />Henry Krista]_, Embers Restaurant, was in attendance. <br />He strenuously opposed the proposal. He is concerned that <br />there is not enough parking on site to accommodate a successful <br />business of this type--the overflow parking would be forced <br />into the residential neighborhood.
